lead smelly customers nearby and refused us to change the table rudely. It's just like you can taste nothing if you are in the toilets. Maybe the logic is the only thing you can do is try be even much more smelly than the smelly customers and make them leave. Ok it's your service and this is my comment 游客化餐厅 服务员不友善。 (Revised) All right the manager told me it's unfair to the staff who are performing the restaurant Now totally calm down and would try my best to post a fair and true comment. Food is gorgeous and worthy for a 4 star, but still the fact is that I can't taste anything with weird smell and of course it should not be customers problem! But I want to respect foods and dishes cooked well and then asked if I can change a table. Firstly allowed by the manager in a light blue shirt and then refused by a waiter rudely. Feel ashamed to have to talk about the reason why we need to change the seat and was told we have changed once at the beginning that's why we can't change anymore. With several tables available at that moment , i tried to understand these desk might be reserved. It's ok and I fully understand and respect waiters work. But after I explained my problems there is no help or any solution from waiters or restaurants. I don't think it should be the attitude doing the service, refusing the requests raised by us and don't care about the problems customers are facing!
For the grandpa picked up my phone and at the front desk he is so nice and passionate, and this is my impression of Italy. Even the food is ok, the environment is good, service is part of the work restaurants need to consider as well. After I broke the glass containing my wine, the waiter who refused us rudely and with no smile previously came and said he thought we have finished (not sure if he is hustling us out) and I said not yet, he asked if we need to open the windows (to let smell out) and the girls at the table nearby ( i think they are also affected by smell but tried to be polite and didnt say it to waiter) said thank you to the waiters. What I mean is why not try to make an attempt with us when we do have some problems at the beginning.
Hope it helps to all readers and welcome the restaurant to...
Read moreWorst dining experience ever, bar none. The waiter displayed exaggerated unprofessionalism and racism. The pre-dinner bread basket, salt and pepper dragged on for 30 minutes before being served, mineral water was thrown straight onto the table, and wine was poured directly without tasting or respecting your wishes. I thought this was because the restaurant was too busy to take care of everything, but the table next door was served so perfectly that even the mineral water was expected to be tasted beforehand. I would advise you not to come to this restaurant if you are non-Italian, you will be treated unfairly.
The following is an addendum to the restaurant's response, in light of your statement that you do not accept racial discrimination. Could you please explain why my bottle of mineral water was rudely placed on the table while the locals at the next table were given a considerate pouring service? Why was the bread basket, salt, pepper, olive oil and vinegar arranged for the locals at the next table as soon as they were seated while I waited for 30 minutes before it was brought to the table after several gestures? Why is it that the wines on the menu are 12 euros a glass and I don't even get to try them? If it is acceptable that your shop is too busy and therefore understaffed, why did the waiter provide standard service to other customers while ignoring their...
Read moreEvery time I go to the Le Fonticine, I am never disappointed. It's absolutely fantastic from the second I enter. From food to service (last time we had Martino for our server )and atmosphere, it's a must. It's known for its steak, which is incredible, but the last time I tried the Bacula was that it was hot that day, and I wanted something lighter. It was fantastic and delicious. The ravioli I had was stuffed with burrata with a sauce of tomatoes and basil. The pasta was homemade and so tender and light and delicate and silky. I highly recommend the melanzani even as an appetizer to share. The drunken pear is a perfect dolce. All I can say is that once you go, you will want to go back. I have seen it through a few transitions. It had a fire even, but the food and service stay consistent every time. Definitely don't spend a bunch of time trying to figure out where to go before you try this place. I know there are tons of places, but this has a great history and really delivers. My partner is a vegetarian, and he has...
