Food was excellent. Service could be improved. We had a super meal at this restaurant. Highly recommend the Gnudi and the Gnocchetti di paratroopers al pomodoro fresco plus a salad as a side. Also enjoyed Crostini del Mangiarino and a litre of red house wine. Total bill was 60 EUR and very reasonable with exceptional food.
Our only complaint was the fact that the waitress was not very friendly at all. Not a smile, not acknowledgement and seemed very gruff. She talked with other patrons who apparently she knew and completely ignored us despite the fact that we were very friendly and wanted to engage in conversation. Wasn’t going to happen unfortunately. We asked for the bill and about 20+ minutes later she came after completely ignoring us as she was very engaged with another patron who she apparently knew. We felt very unwelcome unfortunately.
But, if simple service isn’t a big deal and good food is a priority, check this place out. The food is amazing… service with a...

The staff care about what they do, even if you can’t see it with how they act with you (if you’re from out of town). My family have some allergies, and the staff were very accommodating and spent time trying to understand and help us choose what we should have. For the restaurant’s size, the food is DELICIOUS. Slowing down and taking the meal course by course was a great decision, especially since you order everything in the beginning and it’s brought out to you at a good pace. We started with the plate of prosciutto, then got the Florentine style steak and were not disappointed—perfectly seared on the outside, nice and rare on the inside. We also got the gnocchi and wild boar pasta, both DELICIOUS. The potatoes were delicious too. Honestly, I can’t find anything wrong with it. Maybe the shop’s meant for locals, but it’s nice to go out of your way to immerse...
Read moreWe stopped here for drinks immediately after having a terrible experience at a different restaurant & the hospitality we received here is the best we have ever had. We returned two days later for dinner & they remembered us & welcomed us back like old friends!
We ordered the crostini toscani to start, which was very tasty & had the pappardelle al ragu di cinghiale, truffle steak & the insalata mista to share. The salad was delicious, the steak was tender & flavoursome. The pappardelle di ragu was honestly the best meal I have had in a long time. The dish was rich, perfectly seasoned & you could tell that it was cooked with love! We finished with panna cotta & tirimisu. By the end of the meal we were so full & so happy.
This family run establishment has perfected the art of serving delicious dishes with all the comfort & love of a homecooked meal. This intimate restaurant is a true gem in this city & I would happily...
