Due to the good ratings at Google Maps we have visited this Restaurant May, 6th in 2025 at Lunch Time while the Waiter was sitting at the Bar and playing with his Mobile Phone. At this time we have been the only guests. Fast we got the Menu and ordered Carpaccio di Manzo with Truffles (24 €), a bottle of Mineralwater (4€) and OSSOBUCO (27 €). From the House we got fresh bread and some Butter. Quite fast the Meals were served. The taste of the Carpaccio was perfect! It was completely looking and tasting fresh. The sauce with vegetable for the OSSOBUCO was poor. It was looking like vegetable soup and so was the taste as well. The Peppermill was broken at the head. It was dangerous to use it because of getting a cut at the Fingers. After having finished our Meals the waiter has forgotten to care about us. Although a few other guests have arrived it took us 15 minutes to make an order for a Dessert: Tiramisu (8 €). The taste of it was perfect! Afterwards a new young Waiter appeared and wanted to serve us bread. He was believing that we just have arrived.. What a pity that our young Waiter was almost unable to speak and understand English. In the BATHROOM was an information:" Don't throw paper in the Toilet!" COPERTO was charged with 6 €...
Read moreThe image is steak florentine for a general statement of course tre pepe is in Florence. I am not a rare beef guy ,but my daughter got this and it hit me hard. The outside of this fantastic thing ony with some salt and pepper blew me away. The inside just melted away? So normally the plate comes with the full amount of meat, but I ripped through it in just a short time awesome is a must do thing if you are lucky enough to find yourself here. Very Italian staff, who really likes to get familiar with the patrons. Overall pricing for this restaurant was lower than other restaurants we went to in Naples and Rome. The florentine with gnocchi pasta plate, awesome little thicker marinara and 2 big slices of Buffalo Mozerrela cheese in the middle and on top. My wife what we would call fettuccine Alfredo, but wasnt called that on our menu. It started with a parmesan cheese wheel..a shot of alcohol and a light on fire is really cool. Then pasta noodles go into the cheese wheel. All the melted cheese and then transferred to a bowl and placed in front of you. So many other things here you...
Read moreHands down our favorite restaurant this trip! We are so thankful that we chanced upon this hidden gem.
The restaurant is very spacious and has a modern rustic vibe.
We absolutely love everything we ordered. It was a very satisfying meal.
Spaghetti with tuscan ragu (my comfort food - I could eat this every day) Steak tagliata (we were too full to have the florentine T-bone steak, so we decided to order the tagliata instead - which is also from the same cut - and it did not disappoint! The seasoning was on point and the meat cooked to tender perfection.) Truffle risotto (we tried risotto at 4 different restaurants and this was by far the best) Pistachio cake (as recommended by the restaurant and 100% worth trying! Imagine a pistachio lava cake...)
The service was very helpful and we enjoyed the wine that was recommended.
Definitely give this place a try before it blows up! I also like that it opens slightly earlier than...
