Short review: The No. 1 place you should eat in Florence!
Long review: This was our last dinner in Florence and was by far our favorite meal weāve had. Weāve tried all the top-rated places and enjoyed many of them, but this tops the list. The menu offers a selection of Italian classics as well as unique options. If you are visiting Florence, this would be a wonderful place to get some classic Italian dishes as well as some unique dishes you canāt get anywhere else. Beautiful restaurant and the inside was cool even in 95 degree heat, very warm and friendly service, the staff were friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable about the food and answered all of our questions. That alone would have made the experience very nice but then we get to the food⦠we had the meat and cheese board which was incredible (all of the individual elements were delicious, but paired together made everything even better) as well as the Pinse David. Both were large enough portions for me and my husband to share. The pinse was one of the most delicious things Iāve ever eaten. The pairing of flavors and the texture of the dough were outstanding. We both enjoyed delicious glasses of wine and two bottles of sparkling water and the check came to only 55ā¬! If we could go back and do it again, we would eat here every night and sample more of their incredible menu! Good food was the top priority of my husband and I on our trip and (if it wasnāt already clear) I cannot recommend this place strongly enough!...

F(ood): food (we all had pasta) was nice and cheap A(tmosphere): cosy terrace in a quiet sidestreet. Seating area inside is downstairs in the "basement" but looks charming. C(hildren): no menu or portions for kids T(oilets): clean and nicely decorated. It does something if they don't forget about the toilets. It's part of your store so it should match the rest
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhat an amazing experience at Fattoria Rossi. Our server, Gian Piero was so incredibly hospitable and passionate about his work. He was really helpful with us when choosing our menu selections, and we were not disappointed. The boards of meats, cheeses, pears, honey, jams, etc. weāre top notch. He explained the products that came from their farm and they were incredible. My favorite thing was the dish that Gian Piero recommended; the pork topped with a truffle parmigiano cream sauce. So tender, delicious, and unlike anything else weāve had in Florence. Fattoria Rossi is clearly passionate about what they do and it makes all the difference. They were also kind and so accommodating to my 10 month old and I think he also had his best meal in Florence because he cleared his plate that they so nicely made for him. Donāt miss this amazing gem when youāre in Florence!! GRAZIE to Gian...
