This place is definitely one of the top competitors in Florence when it comes to putting out the best sandwich. We got the Sloppy Rob and the Nautilus, both so good! If you go here for lunch you definitely won't be leaving hungry.
The only negative to our experience here was the service we got from the guy serving our coffee. We asked for two cups of "drip coffee" which is what is written on the menu above the ordering window. He was kind of rude and made it seem like we didn't know what we were talking about. Then proceeded to come out of the shop and check for himself, saw that that's exactly what's written on the menu. Returned indoors and served us two cold coffees. Wasn't impressed when we told him they were cold and went back to serve us two luke warm coffees instead. We just quit while we were ahead. Sandwiches are to die for, had the pastrami with homemade coleslaw, and my partner had the jersey boy( Turkey with salad and a lovely mustard mayo), and a couple of glasses of chianti.. it was lovely and well worth every penny. We went again the next day, which considering we were staying in Pisa but actually visiting sienna that day , makes you realise how good the sandwiches were. Completely different staff, but the same great service, 2 sandwiches (jersey boys) a Prosecco for my partner and a few swift draft beers for me. Again everything was superb, and we will 100% visit again when we’re next...
