Had a very bad experience at loins irish pub where they will try to loot your money and scam you . i will share the incident happened with me recently when i checked their menu it has been written that for students they can get a band and will be charged a promotional price but after grabbing a drink they told the offer is limited to AMERICAN STUDENTS ONLY , which clearly potrays the miscommunication from their end. I ordered one black label with a bit of soda and lots of ice which the bartender put it himself and later to my surprise i was asked for 20 euros because according to them the black label , lots of ice and normal soda is PREMIUM DRINK FOR THEM. One of their staff became very rude when i questioned them for their miscommunciation upon which he answered ITS UPTO US WHATEVER WE SELL AS A PREMIUM DRINK AND WE MAKE THE RULES HERE. There are better pubs in florence who are professionals...

Tengo a precisare che ho versato nelle casse del bar sufficiente denaro nel corso di un anno da farmi accreditare come uno dei clienti più assidui e che quindi non sono l’ultimo che capita per caso nel posto. Detto ciò, questa sera ho introdotto degli amici tedeschi al locale in quanto in precedenza avevo avuto solo esperienze positive tra prezzi, staff e sicurezza. Proprio quest’ultima si è resa nota di un evento a dir poco deplorevole in quanto dopo aver bevuto e riso, ho accompagnato una amica tedesca al bagno riservato “alle donne” (preciso che il locale era semi vuoto e tutto tappezzato di scritte, comprese le porte, con pennarelli e bagni di un’igiene discutibile). Tutto bene in quanto il bagno è composto da un anti bagno e un locale con wc separati da porte. Io ho aspettato nell’antibagno in attesa che lei uscisse (non era nelle migliori delle condizioni e mi aveva chiesto di accompagnarla) per poi tornare dai nostri amici nel locale. Tempo di aprire la porta e sono stato bruscamente scortato fuori dal locale da uno dei due buttafuori (che a malapena parlano italiano e/o inglese e coi quali è impossibile formulare una conversazione razionale) il quale, insieme al collega, hanno iniziato ad insinuare che io e la mia amica avessimo avuto un rapporto nel bagno (il tutto smentito da me, lei e da una terza ragazza presente nell’antibagno con cui ho chiacchierato nel mentre che aspettavo la mia amica che è stata ignorata dagli stessi forse per barriera linguistica evidente). La conversazione è proseguita con me (che avevo pagato tra l’altro già un totale di oltre 50€ con i miei amici quella sera) che provavo a spiegare a tali buttafuori la situazione e l’equivoco e con loro che mi insultavano intimidendomi di lasciare l’area altrimenti, e cito, “mi avrebbero messo le mani addosso”. Il tutto al di fuori del bar su suolo pubblico fiorentino. Inutile dire che ne i buttafuori e ne i gestori conoscono le leggi italiane riguardanti la violenza e l’aggressione da parte di operatori di sicurezza, ma oltre a questo la presenza di testimoni oculari non li ha minimamente impensieriti in vista di cause legali imminenti. Dal momento in cui tali operatori non conoscono l’italiano sono sicuro che non saranno loro a rispondere a questo messaggio, rivolgendomi alla gestione nel locale che apparentemente è d’accordo con una politica di violenza e minacce verbali e fisiche, pensate di procedere a una leggera modifica della vostra policy nei confronti dei vostri clienti o credete che questo tipo di comportamento sia degno di un locale...

Do not attend, staff were rude and arrogant. One of them is currently flirting with some girls at the bar, when he should be pouring us the beer we paid for. We ordered a pitcher worth 2.3L of Stella Artois (which supposedly worked out cheaper than 4 ‘pints’) and we recieved no more than 1.8L of beer. We tried to reason with the staff, but they were unfriendly and refused to serve us our beer- IT WAS SIMPLE MATHS. Why have it on the menu if it doesn’t work out better value for money ?? Tunes are STINKY- Mo Bamba by Sheck wes on at the moment; a banger of course, but in a ‘pub’ ??? Let’s not take the piss. Not what you want to be hearing. The Stella tasted off anyway.
