Bloomy 2 - 金源阁 — Restaurant in Milan

After visiting Chinatown and coming out a bit disappointed at the options, my family and I were a bit hesitant to try this store. It was quiet even though it was lunchtime. We got seated very quickly and ordered the beef noodles, sweet and sour pork rice, pork cutlet rice, and black pepper beef rice. The food arrived shortly, and we were shocked to see its generous portions! The rice looked like a hill in comparison to the mountain of meat served alongside it. Amazing food, I had the wonton soup which was absolutely delicious. The soup took a little while but was well worth it, everything else came out very quickly. Limited indoor seating, I’d say about 10-15 seats between two tables and a bar. A lot more outdoor seating which may not be ideal in the colder months. Loved the atmosphere, the food was served in these very pretty, decorated traditional Chinese bowls and the spoon and chopsticks were metal with a bronze finish. We are visiting from Washington DC. We are lucky enough to live in an area that is extremely diverse and has incredible food. This is some of the best asian food we have ever had. To summarize:

-Amazing service -FRESH, flavorful food (dumplings were incredible) -Clean -Staff was extremely accommodating to vegetarians (for my mother)
