Café Kitsuné Milano — Restaurant in Milan

In the historic Palazzo Venezia, built in eclectic style between 1897 and 1901 connected to the Grand Hotel Melià, we find this small pastry shop with very few tables where you can enjoy a break in the heart of the city. The location appears warm and welcoming, the staff is fast and the food and beverage part satisfies most customers, pampered with tea, coffee, but also aperitifs etc. A "relaxing" experience in a dynamic city like Milan. Sono stata varie volte in questa nuova pasticceria, e sta già diventando uno dei miei luoghi preferiti. I prodotti sono eccellenti, superano di gran lunga in bontà anche quelli di pasticcerie blasonate e di noti personaggi tv. Ho provato sia il dolce che il salato ed è tutto molto buono. La torta paradiso, nella sua semplicità, è di una bontà unica, così come le brioches. Nella crema pasticcera c'è vaniglia vera, non aromi chimici. Il servizio è abbastanza veloce come si addice a un locale in pienissimo centro dove la gente tendenzialmente ha fretta (impiegati, manager, in pausa caffè) ma molto dipende da chi vi serve in quel momento. Locale ben arredato e accogliente, moderno ma non troppo, colori caldi. Le note negative sono lo spazio davvero troppo piccolo e sacrificato, che impatta anche sulla varietà di prodotti e di bevande, e il servizio non sempre all'altezza. Cambia sempre il personale, forse stanno ancora cercando quello definitivo essendo abbastanza nuovo il locale, alcuni addetti sono impeccabili, altri un po' più impacciati e lenti. Tendenzialmente però sono tutti gentilissimi. Se la preparazione del personale avrà sicuramente modo di migliorare con l'esperienza, lo spazio purtroppo resta quello. Chi si serve al bancone si trova incastrato tra il banco stesso e i tavolini, pagare può diventare un'impresa se c'è più di un cliente già presente. Enjoyed my time at cafe kitsune, really enjoyed their ceremonial grade matcha and their wide offerings of different plant based milk options. The matcha had the distinct umami and bitter taste and was a decent size, slightly more on the pricier side against alternative places in the area but still worth it for the experience. Great service and our drinks were received within less than 5 minutes despite being quite busy at the time, would recommend for people to try...
