Food is totally fine but the service…. If you can’t speak Italian I don’t recommend you to come as we seat near the door and we saw how the manager treat them differently. For the people who can’t speak Italian the manager sent them straight away but with the one who speak and don’t have reservation they can wait and get a table in short time. We arrived at 12:15and just opened no one gave us menu until someone noticed 10 mins later when they want to take an order from us. When we want to pay our bills the waitress told us we just pay at the reception which there’s even not have a cash desk or staff ( so we can just go without paying?) no one want to get the bill for us and at the end we have to find the cash desk ourselves. Premetto che non sono solita fare recensioni, ma questa esperienza è stata talmente negativa che non posso esimermi. Ho chiesto di indicarmi la presenza di derivati animali in alcune proposte del menù (senza domandare alcuna variazione) e la cameriera voleva sapere se avessi delle intolleranze. Le ho fatto presente che non avevo alcuna allergia/intolleranza ma solo che necessitavo comunque di questa informazione. Va in cucina a informarsi, torna e mi dice che la pappa al pomodoro e le pappardelle al pomodoro non contenevano né burro né altri ingredienti di origine animale. Dunque, per facilitare la preparazione dei piatti visto che eravamo 8 ospiti, invece di prendere la pappa al pomodoro ho ordinato le pappardelle richieste anche da altre persone del tavolo. In quel preciso istante, vista la confusione, non ho pensato di chiedere se le pappardelle fossero all'uovo (e di questa dimenticanza mi sono assunta la responsabilità). Arriva il primo: non erano pappardelle ma maltagliati, porzione molto risicata, il sugo fresco era mantecato col burro e parte della pasta era aggrovigliata in pezzi unici, anche duri. Poi arrivano le verdure e i fagioli: dovevano essere conditi, invece mi è arrivato un piatto di verdure saltate in padella ma con legumi praticamente sconditi (sembravano i cannellini in scatola). Quando ho fatto notare alla cameriera che nel primo c'erano uova e burro, nonostante la mia richiesta di indicazione di presenza di derivati animali, mi ha risposto, sorridendo: "ah perché non li poteva mangiare?" Ora, io capisco tutto, e ho cercato anche di avere empatia per la scarsa preparazione. E' un ristorante toscano, ci mancherebbe, non pretendevo di certo pietanze "particolari" o fuori menù. Ma se ti chiedo CORTESEMENTE di indicarmi la presenza di allergeni o di certi ingredienti, tu non rispondi in maniera poco seria o impreparata o improvvisata solo perché le mie esigenze sono etiche e non di salute. Per di più, a prescindere dalle mie preferenze, la qualità del cibo, come visto, era assolutamente approssimativa.
