During my recent visit to Naples, I had the pleasure of dining at Casareale, a charming restaurant nestled in the heart of the city. Known for its authentic Neapolitan cuisine, Casareale offers a cozy atmosphere that perfectly complements its culinary offerings.

The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the margherita pizza. As a purist when it comes to pizza, I appreciated the simplicity and quality of ingredients that Casareale brought to this classic dish. The crust was perfection—airy yet chewy, with a slight char that added a beautiful depth of flavor. The tomato sauce was fresh and vibrant, striking an impeccable balance between sweet and tangy. This was absolutely a highlight of our trip. The pizza has that special taste that only sourdough bread has and the toppings are incredible, they're clearly very thought out recipes. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone that wants to have a famously delicious Naples pizza. They do have two different menus, one in English, with more tourist-focused dishes and one in Italian, with the more traditional ones. Reseñas falsas, una auténtica decepción. Fui a cenar con un grupo grande ya que me recomendaron este sitio. Pensé que la recomendación iba a ser acertada por que en las reseñas sólo leí buenos comentarios y cinco estrellas, pero está claro que son patrañas. Para empezar nos hicieron esperar a la mesa media hora (éramos 11 personas). Esperamos EN LA CALLE con las bebidas en la mano hasta que se fuese otro grupo de comensales. Una vez en la mesa, pedimos unos entrantes que la verdad, estaban muy ricos, pero el segundo plato tardó muchísimo en llegar. Finalmente llegaron los segundos. El mío, (pulpo) estaba CONGELADO y no tenían patata morada, por lo que me lo sirvieron con patata normal y CASI CRUDA ( estaba dura). Los comensales que pidieron pizza la recibieron cuando todo el mundo ya había terminado de comer ( podrían haber pasado 20-30 minutos). Uno de los comensales tuvo que abandonar el local por una indigestión antes que los demás. Lo peor es que al final de la cena no pudimos pedir postre POR QUE SE HABÍA ACABADO. ¿En que restaurante hoy en día se “terminan” los postres? Fue un ultraje. A demás fue uno de los restaurantes más caros en los que he estado en Nápoles. Por terminar, en la web ponen que tienen azotea y nos dijeron que no había, que el restaurante solamente era la planta de abajo. El servicio fue borde y esquivo, sobre todo el dueño que va con aires de famoso y para darnos malas noticias enviaba a una camarera. No se les ocurran ir, hay 1.000 pizzerías en Nápoles mucho mejores. Mira que es difícil no acertar en un restaurante de pizza y pasta…. Pero me hicieron quedar muy mal con el resto del grupo.
