The fish is simply deep fried and is fresh thankfully but quite bland beyond that. The baby squid was not prepared correctly, with bone and ink not removed which was not great. When the bill came, they charged €7 for the Hugo Spritz. I pointed out that they had said €5, but they insisted only Aperol Spritz is that price. Honestly, there’s no real difference between the two besides the color, so it felt misleading. They refused to honor what was said, which left a really bad impression.

After hitting quite a lot of below average restaurants in Palermo, I had seriously given up on the food here. But then came Al Tentacolo - my most favourite eating out experience by far.
You decide which seafood you want, they then grab it by for you by the handful, allowing you to decide what you fancy - we had extra of the calamari 😋
Then you state how you want it cooked. Fried, grilled - they got you!
It's served in rustic simple perfect, seasoned lightly with a batter and delicate flavourings on paper plates.
Honestly, please visit this place - we would have gone back twice but it was closed on Sunday...
