POSITIVE: large portions really good food the seafood is probably fresh (not deep frozen) variety of vegetarian food pretty affordable prices- they didn't skimp with the alkohol in our Aperols

NEGATIVE: When they invite you they pretend that they speak english. When you enter you will see a counter, filled with different food.  But when you try to order or just find out which food is what exactly, the reply will be a 90% Italian-10% English shouting at a very rapid speed. Almost impossible to understand exactly what you are ordering or eating. Paying. I didn't want to believe that this is possible in 2022 in the EU. The "bill" was a piece of paper which the waiter wrote when we ordered. The handwriting was unreadable. When we finished he wrote numbers on that paper, added them, and violá..here is the bill. This was the only place where we got cold food. Not a whining, it was literally fridge-cold.

HINT: Say your whole order from start to finish at the end of the ordering and make sure that the waiter writes down this. And ONLY this. The waiter and I  talked (talked = half Italian-half English "activity") about two different kinds of octopus. He wrote down the first one and when I chose the other one, he wrote it AS WELL. It was very hard to made him understand that I don't want both. Use cash. I wanted to pay with a card so they brought a mobile terminal. DO NOT EAT HERE! I cannot tell you how the food is because we did not try it. This place was highly recommended to us by a dear friend. However, I will not be at a place where they thieve from you and they are crooks. They stole my phone off my table whilst we were looking at the menu. Whilst we were waiting for the food, I was going to tip a musician that was playing on the street, only to find my phone had gone. When I went inside to question them, they handed the phone back to me only to find they had taken €50 (of the €70) that was in my phone case. If there’s one thing I cannot stand in this world, is a thief, I don’t care how good the food is, how highly recommended, I will not stand for thieves and crooks. Italy is one of the best places in the world to visit, but we all have a responsibility to ‘call out’ situations like this, the only way we can improve these sorts of things, if we call them out, and the only way we can educate them, is to hurt them where it hurts the most, in the hip pocket. We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! We ordered the swordfish caponata to share, then a pasta dish each, plus an Aperol Spritz and a glass of white wine. The total bill was around €40 — very fair for the quality.

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. One waiter in particular took care of us from the beginning. He was so patient while we took ages to decide what to order, and even introduced us to other Brazilians dining there.

The highlight came at the end of the night: after we had left, we suddenly saw him running down the street with our bag — which we had completely forgotten at the table. It had all our important belongings inside. We’re beyond grateful for his honesty and kindness.
