Although I'm familiar with Syrian, Palestinian, Lebanese and Egyptian food, this was my first time trying Iraqi food. I stopped in here before checking in for the ferry to Tunisia (as at the time of writing is another Arab country whose cuisine I'm less familiar with). I ordered the arayes and the tea for afterwards. It didn't disappoint and was well deserved after a day of exploring Palermo and Monreale, and I would definitely return on a future trip to Palermo.

I walked by, looking for a place to eat. It looked nice, I checked on Google and went in. Awesome decision 😊 There were two guys and a woman working - the guys cooking and she was doing an amazing service...all three super nice. And the food was delicious - i had a starter, a main course and a dessert with one drink and didn't even cross the 20€. I totally agree with all the previous reviews, they deserve 5 and more stars...

Consigliato!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (English below)

Review in English ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had dinner at Babilonia Eats, and it was truly an outstanding experience. The starters were phenomenal, followed by a rich mix of fresh salads. My advice: trust chef Bahar’s suggestions, try a bit of everything, and share the dishes with your friends – that’s how the experience really shines.

The dish that impressed me the most was the Chicken Saj, perfectly balanced and flavorful. And it wasn’t just me: everyone at the table agreed it was one of the highlights of the night.

I also came back for the Babilonia Brunch, which deserves a special mention: healthy, balanced, and delicious, with eggs, yogurt topped with olive oil, and other ingredients that made it one of the best and healthiest brunches I’ve had in Palermo.

Chef Bahar’s hospitality is what makes this place truly special. His passion shows in the way he explains every dish, creating a warm and authentic atmosphere that feels like a journey straight to Babylon. All the food is halal, portions are generous, and the service is attentive.

Located in the heart of the city, Babilonia Eats is easy to reach and offers an experience that is unique in Palermo. The value for money is simply unbeatable: it’s hard to find this level of quality, authenticity, and abundance elsewhere.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic, generous, and memorable dining...

Just recently I discussed with friends that Palermo has become a gourmet capital from the dust just in about 15 years, but still some flavours (as nationalities) were missing. We’re very happy to have this unique restaurant in our town. Imagine a very simple place (the most important decoration is plants), just a few tables, a small group of very nice people who still need to learn restaurant management and waiting tables, but their good will and cooking skills win. We had amazing food: try the red pepper dip for starter and any dish with minced beef and spices. I also loved their salads, however, you need to love onion (they also offer coleslaw). Their sweets are too sweet for us, but it’s really just a matter of taste. We were 7 yesterday, tried most of the dishes and paid 105 euro in total. Incredible. I hope they can make ends meet and make our Palermo a more colorful place for...

Babilonia Eats is the go to place wether you are looking for a brunch, lunch or a heartfelt evening meal. I’ll guarantee you that you’ll be treated to a truly unique experience of authentic Iraqi flavors! Everything that I tried there was so fresh, full of taste and clearly made with love 🌱♥️ What I also love about this place is that Babilonia is more than just a restaurant. It’s a space built on passion and love for Iraqi flavors and cuisine - and you can feel that in every bite. The prices are very budget-friendly, the location is superb, and they also offer lots of vegetarian options. A true gem in the...
