Hello! Today I wanted to enjoy my morning coffee at the only specialty coffee shop in Palermo, being passionate and working in this field. The opening time of the cafe shown on Google is 9 am. I arrived at the cafe in the port at 9:00 before 10. I waited patiently until 9:05 and entered. There were 2 boys and 1 girl at the bar. Although I know that in the morning it is important that no one disturbs you when opening and making the recipe, I went in because I am pregnant and I was sitting in the sun. I asked to be allowed to enter, to sit on the terrace in the shade because I am pregnant and I was not allowed on the grounds that the opening is at 9:30 instead of 9:00 even though on Google it says 9:00. Then I said that I'm pregnant and that I don't want to disturb, just sit on a chair in the shade. I was not allowed, the reason being that they did not clean and arrange the terrace. I know that specialty coffee means hospitality, before an excellent product. Hospitality comes from humanity and empathy. Nice place, pretty neatly done, with probably greatest coffee on the pier that you will never taste. After entering we were greeted, seated and given the info about a menu available thru a qr code. And that was it. After fifteen minutes of being circled and dodged by the staff, we've asked one person if we should order by the bar or at the table- and it was said that at the table. But it still took another five minutes for someone to come, even though we said that we are ready to order. We've tried to order, but we're informed that all that can be served, are the espresso and few drinks. Nothing from the given menu was available to order, and all we wanted was few coffees and fresh orange juice. To sum up: if you want to be openly ignored this is a great place for you. We left...

After waiting 25 minutes for the staff to notice us, we went to greet them and were sent to a table, after another 15 minutes, we finally managed to place an order, after a total of almost an hour from the moment we entered we were given water. The Italian table, for example, was visited by the waiter about 5 times during this time, completely ignoring that we wanted to place an order. Later it was more efficient, but the pastry was quite dry, definitely not fresh, there was a noticeable unpleasant atmosphere towards foreigners, an unpleasant experience and I sincerely advise everyone against this place.
