La Torre Cafe. — Restaurant in Pisa

Ice cream watered down and disgusting, a tragedy. Tiramisu even worse. The only things that were ok were Aperol and still water. Desserts old and not good. Bleee!!! Waiters very rude and unpleasant. In this ‘establishment’ the most important thing is money and not the customer. And probably it should be the other way around. Avoid this place with the widest possible distance. The only plus is that it is close to the Tower. It's better to walk a few steps to a real place not only focused on money. In a word, a massacre in Pisa. We were not the only ones who felt this way. It seems to me that most of the reviews are either fake or bought. Especially a waiter named Samuel.... the other waiters ok, but this simpleton, it's a waste of words. He should still get a tattoo on his forehead. Inside dirty. Tables outside also not prepared for customers. It's enough to wash them with a cloth once in a while. But not in this...

Beware! Tourist Trap! Does not even deserve 1 star. Some staff are also rude.

For the context: We didn’t know that outside seating is for table service only. No signs whatsoever.

So We bought foods+drinks ($$) as a takeaway since we couldn’t find an available table at the time. After paying at the counter, one table was available and decided to eat there. A lady shoo as away, said we can’t sit there (no explanations made). I went to the counter again to buy extra coffee and was asked if for takeaway or dine in. When I said for dine in, I was told, order will be taken at the table. So went back to the available table with our takeaways. A guy staff came and said we can’t eat our take aways there. I said I will order more food+drinks. He insisted we still can’t eat our takeaways there and if we do he will also charge us again for that takeaways. We walked out. Greed...

If I could give this a zero I would. We sat down and looked at the menu before one of us headed inside to order. I was seated at the table the whole time and no one came over to speak to me. As soon as my friend came out with the food the waiter comes over saying that it’s only table service outside. We had spent quite a lot so asked if we could sit there anyway and he rudely told us no and that we had no respect. I said there should be a sign that tells us this and he points to a teeny tiny plaque on the table that we had missed. We left of course because we didn’t wish to cause more of a fuss but the food was mediocre and it was not obvious that he was a waiter (dressed in plain clothes) and he spoke to us awfully considering we had just spent...
