The WORST experience EVER!!!! This people doesn't know what politnes means, AT ALL!!! We were there on 21st of may this year, I decided to wait for the review until we finish our holidays, just becase this place deserves full description and time dedicated. Strating with the food, we were 7 people, all literally straving. We had to wait for 4 pizzas and drinks more than 50 minutes! But that is not the complaint. When we finally got them after OTHER PEOPLE being served FIRST even came later- the pizzas were EMPTYYYY with almost no ingridients on it, and the pizza dough were LITERALLY nachos type. NEVER EVER seen such a transparent pizza and the money they charge for it is absolutely insane. When we were making the payment just wanted to mention that what they do is not good, as that was my 5th time in italy and 3rd time in Rome and have never seen such a thin and empty pizza which costs 16€, because we all were still STARVING after ¨eating¨ it. What they answerd and how they behaved was ABOVE AND BEYOND rudeness, shameless, impoliteness... They said we should have mentioned that before stating to eat, how could we say something after eating all pizza and that we DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT PIZZA from Roma!!! To mention- We have NEVER ASKED TO NOT PAY THE MEAL. All we wanted was to mention our dissapointment about the food and service. We have left the table leaving a full bottle of wine, because being there and listening to them (different staff member were approaching to us no idea why) literally YELLING AT US , became absolutely DISGUSTING!!! We went outside, you won´t believe but they FOLLOWED US outside the ¨restaurant¨ KEEPING YELLING and trying to stop me of NOT EVEN taking a picture of the restaurat, but ONLY writing the name down in my phone. They started to scream and yelle about the fact that I said that would leave a review, they were around 4-5 staff member outside, all people passing by and the ones from restaurant were looking at us. I felt such a big shame, but this people didn´t even care!!! Italians are saturated with turists and they think they can behave like this! If everyone having a bad experience would share, they would be more focused on how they behave and what services do they offer. Until then, keep accepting their attitude with the excuse that they are simply emotional people. No, most of them are just uneducated people.

Poor from the get go. Stopped in due to the reviews being fairly decent and close to our hotel. We wanted a quick bite to eat before flying and asked if we were able to share 1 pizza and 1 pasta between 3 of us. We were told a hard NO and basically told to pick a dish each or we should go elsewhere. We had wandered around long enough so just picked a dish each. This created quite a hostile environment between our table and the waiters who were not very attentive at all. The food we ordered tasted delicious, but had had better elsewhere. When other tables started to fill we could see that there was people sharing different options, so maybe we either got a less friendly waiter, or it was another typical Italian scam. However, the bathroom was DISGUSTING. I had to wait for a lady and a gentleman prior to me to be able to go (about 10 minutes). The gentleman came up and informed me I would be better going elsewhere as it was disgusting and not clean at all. They quickly sent one of the waiters down to clean it. This took another 5 minutes. By this point I had waited long enough to use the bathroom. It was relatively spotless when I got in there, however still had an unpleasant smell. The staff were not very accommodating at all, and overall the whole experience was quite a disappointment for our last Italian meal.

A Perfect First Taste of Rome! Fal 1947 was the very first spot we visited in Rome for a meal—and we’re so glad we did! Just a short stroll from the Trevi Fountain, this charming and quaint restaurant offers a cozy escape from the crowds, while still placing you right in the heart of the city. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was exceptional—genuinely warm and attentive without being overbearing. The staff made us feel like welcomed guests, not just tourists passing through. The food was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and classic Roman flavors done right. Whether you’re craving a perfectly cooked pizza, pasta, or something lighter, you can taste the care in every bite. Highly recommend Fal 1947 for anyone looking for a memorable and authentic dining experience in Rome. We’ll definitely be coming back!!

During my recent trip to Rome, I had the pleasure of dining at "Dal 1947 bistrot". Located conveniently in the heart of the city, this restaurant delivered a delightful culinary experience.

The ambiance was inviting, with a cozy and intimate setting that felt both traditional and welcoming. The staff were friendly, and their attentiveness added to the overall pleasant dining atmosphere.

We started our meal with a plate of bruschetta, bursting with the flavors of fresh tomatoes, basil, and a drizzle of olive oil – a simple yet delicious appetizer that set the tone for what was to come.

For the main course, I opted for the "Pasta Carbonara," and it was a delight. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the creamy carbonara sauce was rich and flavorful without being overwhelming.

The tiramisu for dessert was a sweet ending to the meal. Its creamy texture and delicate balance of coffee and cocoa flavors left me satisfied and content.

The wine selection was ample, offering a variety of options to complement the meal. I chose a local red wine that paired wonderfully with the dishes.

"Dal 1947 bistrot" exceeded my expectations, delivering a genuine taste of Italian cuisine. If you're in Rome and looking for a reliable spot to enjoy classic Italian dishes in a friendly atmosphere, this is a great choice. I'd certainly return for another memorable...
