A lively dining experience with a fantastic atmosphere
4 Fiumi, located right on the vibrant Piazza Navona, offers a pleasant dining experience with a great mix of food quality, service, and an unbeatable location. The portion sizes are satisfying, providing a good balance between quantity and presentation. The price-to-value ratio is fair, though slightly on the higher side, which is expected for such a prime location.
The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a welcoming experience. The ambiance is a highlight—being situated in such a lively square may not be for everyone, but we found it to be part of the charm. The bustling atmosphere, combined with a fantastic view of the beautiful fountain, adds to the overall experience.
The quality of the food and drinks is good, with well-prepared dishes that meet expectations. Cleanliness is well maintained, contributing to a comfortable and enjoyable visit.
Service is efficient, with minimal waiting times, even during busy periods. Accessibility is also well-considered, making it a convenient option for most guests.
While we cannot comment on parking, the location is easy to reach by public transportation, making it a convenient choice for tourists and locals alike.
Overall, 4 Fiumi is a great place to enjoy a meal in one of Rome’s most famous squares, offering a lively and atmospheric dining experience that enhances the charm...
Read moreI ordered the lobster with hand made pasta for dinner since the waiter strongly recommend it as a daily special, saying it would be "unforgettable". The pasta can be called "unforgettable" since its unique texture and rich taste. However the lobster is just mediocre. Honestly it is even worse than my own cooking (not a professional cook in any way), very far from "unforgettable". Maybe it is just the waiter trying to get rid of the lobsters left in the fridge before the end of the day, since he is doing it to almost every table. The waiter is also kind of tricky. Generally he is polite but not so friendly. The worst thing is that he tried multiple times to recommend us to order things without informing us the price. I only know that the special lobster with pasta cost €28 after asking. He also recommend us to have some "small thing" with the salad which actually cost almost half of the price of the salad itself. Again, he didn't say the price until we ask. Other than the issue with the lobster, the food is generally good and price listed on the menu is reasonable. A smoking guest next to us makes the experience...
Read moreWorst dining experience in Rome! I’ve been to Rome 3 times and this is by far the worst ever dining experience in Rome and the Piazza Navona area ever!
First off, the waiter spoke no English at all. When we tried to ask him about the menu he got annoyed and walked off for 5mins before finding another waiter to help us. Every time he walked passed us, he would mutter under his voice.
There was a lady next to us that noticed our struggles and also had a similar experience.
The food was average, bland, and overcooked and very expensive for the portions size we received. We certainly expected more. Don’t come here if you want to spend a ridiculous amount of money for terrible service and subpar food. We ordered the grilled calamari and the salmon with potatoes and spinach.
When we paid for the meal, our waiter stuck his hand out holding the eftpos machine and looked away. Didn’t say word when we paid or left either. Avoid this...
