Overall not impressed by the staff. Despite there being at least 5 people on duty in the area where we were sitting, we only could order after almost 10 minutes of being ignored by several staff members passing by, and not in a hurry, but just seemingly unsure of their task. It seemed unstructured and unorganized. The ambiance was perfect for an Irish pub and the Guinness drafted correctly. Draft beers seemed pretty pricey, but I didn’t get the chance to compare with other Irish pubs in the area. We would have stayed longer but waiting another uncertain amount of time to even be able to order the next drink, we rather decided to move on. It could be a great place if the service was faster and better organized. Everyone was friendly though. Additional advice for the bar: There were special offers displayed on a small screen above the bar, that I couldn’t find anywhere else and it was shown so briefly among a lot of other information, that in the end I gave up on trying to find out what it was. I would recommend showing less different things on such an „info“ screen or have printouts on some sort of board, or not offer them at all. Felt like a...

Rudest bouncer ever approached us as we just used the table next to the fridgedarium gelataria for a quick photo under their umbrellas since it just started raining.

The bouncer came up to us and told us to leave and we asked if we could just stay for a quick photo. He said no and to get out, yet there was a table that was next to us that had 3 Italians standing under the umbrella enjoying their gelato and nothing was said to them! So sure, pick on the tourist! We had no clue those tables were theirs but we asked politely. No need to be so rude! Also there was no line up of people period so it shouldn't have been a big deal to stand and take a quick photo period now if it was busy and a lineup I totally would have understood and those chairs were still empty when we finished our gelato under a doorsill nearby.

This is supposed to be an "Irish" pub. Learn to show some "Irish hospitality"!

Stay away from this place. Now if I wanted Irish pub fare, you lost my business for sure now. You know tourist do tire of eating local food...

Great place if you are ever in central Rome. 1 minute walk from the Piazza Navona. Shows all Premier League football games, Serie A, Champions League, and other sports. However, expect a wait for your food. We have been nearly half a dozen times, and most recently (8th April '25), we had to wait 30 minutes for a table we had reserved and were then seated in a packed noisey back room, where you couldn't hear yourself think. Needless to say, with Rome having so much to offer, we didn't hang around and left. Hopefully, a bad day at the office for the staff at the Abbey!!

Lively pub, went here couple of times. Always something going on and a welcoming place for tourists definitely. They have bingo nights too. Food isn’t the best but it’s not the worst if that can be a statement.😂 Ive had tortilla chips with guac and cheese and the melted cheese made the chips rubbery and soggy. Better option are the burgers, they are a bit dry but considering it’s a pub you will have to order a beer with this. All in all I like how cozy it is and it was a very chill atmosphere every time I went here. So a good place to take a breather.

Not your typical Roma restaurant, but so happy that we stopped by. Extensive menu has pasta items, but also includes hamburgers, meats, and other Irish delicacies. We ate here for lunch, and ordered a couple of pasta dishes and a traditional Irish Breakfast. All were of the highest quality and were delicious. The service was also very friendly. Don't let this place fool you. It may not have the long lines of other nearby restaurants, but the food and service are equally as brilliant.
