SHAMEFUL! I love pizza by the slice in Rome, and I trust Italians very much because in thousands of transactions at restaurants and markets, I have only encountered two people who were not completely honest. Once was at a market where the cashier didn’t give me the correct change. It was only one euro, so it was not important to me, but it made me sad. I would not have even noticed if I had not immediately gone to the bar across the street for a coffee and noticed that I didn’t have enough coins to pay in coins. The only other time was at Ripetta’s Kitchen. The man who weighed the pizza doubled the price, maybe because I speak Italian with an accent? I don’t know, I hope not, but I said to the cashier that the price seemed high and she asked him and he said that was the price in an angry voice. A few euros are not that important so I just said OK, paid and left, knowing that the man at least knew that he got caught. It’s a shame, really, because now they have a bad review from me. It’s always better to be honest and treat customers respectfully. I will never go to Ripetta’s Kitchen again and if you go, ask how much before he warms it up. Really a shame because Italians are very...

We ate at two restaurants and both were not as good as Ripetta's Kitchen.
Perfectly seasoned pizzas with a crunch, flavorful cheese lasgna, and really nice hospitable owners, I think their names are Ana and Peter?
They were quite friendly and spoke enough English to explain everything.
Clean restaurant, welcoming experience, food so good...Must give 5 stars
We went back for another visit...
