We were looking forward to visiting this place very much and it even exceeded our expectations
The ambience: Small and cosy spot that organically decorated with vintage details like frames, old mirrors, bronze toys etc
The service: Very welcoming staff that takes care of you the entire time. We were pleased to be treated with coffee in the end :)
The food: You can find the range of crudos here. We had velvet shrimp with anchovies, seabass with tomatoes, tuna crudo with artichokes, that were served with toasted bread with olive oil, and beef tartar sandwich with brioche
And paired the whole thing with 🍾Cuvée
Apart from their main menu, there’s a lunch many as well which you may want to take a look at
Overall, the place is a MUST if you like it...
Read moreFamily run by very warm Italian family. I loved the food and service as well as Jazz standards being played softly on a turntable. I was staying next door and was having problems getting a cab the next day and in a last ditch effort not to miss my tour of the Coliseum went inside and asked for their help to order a cab in Italian. They had a cab there in 3 minutes and I made my tour. This is charming place with real "old school" Italian food, service, and a home feel. Try to make it here...
Read moreTartars are not tasty, food is overpriced, there is no even bread that comes with tartar, they charge additionally 2,50€ for 4 small pieces of bread (without any notification). Service is not good either, no one even asked if the food or the drinks were okay, but they do charge 2€ cover fee per person though (for bringing empty glasses, I guess). There are plenty of better places around this area with much better food, more attentive service and without additional charges...
