Fattore Gelato Roma — Restaurant in Rome

We went to this place every single day of our Rome stay and bought literal tubs of gelato every visit. Tried probably very flavour they have to offer and all were so good we had an incredibly difficult time trying to decide which ones to get each time (and the owner was very patient watching us struggle). We became very critical of gelato places in the rest of Rome after trying this place out, nothing could really compare. We probably ate 3.5 kilos (yes, kilograms) of gelato in the 3 days. Tried to go on our last day in Rome as well but unfortunately realized it was closed on Fridays, needless to say we were devastated, bought a few scoops from another local gelateria and was so disappointed in the difference.

The price also one of the best value we have seen around Rome. Highly recommend.

Our group is incredibly grateful that we found this place on our first day in Rome - we went there every day to buy literal tubs of gelato and were heartbroken on our last day to discover they’re closed on Fridays. We definitely ate too much gelato but there were just too many excellent flavours. Our group particularly enjoyed the fondente al sale delle Hawaii (Hawaii salted dark chocolate), tiramisu, crema di panna, and the fruits - the flavours are intense with a wonderfully creamy texture. After having this gelato all the other gelato we tried in Rome paled in comparison.

Furthermore, there was excellent service - the owner was always very patient as we tried to narrow down our selections each time and he was always friendly on our daily visits. Grazie mille Mr. Gelato (sorry we never asked for...

Almost 2 years ago I visited this gelato spot that was close to my Airbnb and to this day I still close my eyes and can remember how delicious the gelato was. I would go back to Rome just to eat this gelato again. The Lemon and Strawberry flavours are to die for ! The young gentleman helping us that night was very kind and worked hard and was a pleasure to interact with. I highly suggest a visit to this gelato shop for outstanding gelato! I cannot wait...
