A local recommended this gelateria as we don’t like to choose gelaterie based on lines out front. We’ve lived in Rome 4 years and like to try different gelaterie in different neighborhoods and this recommendation was golden. We have become connoisseurs of fruit flavored gelato and Del Monte’s Mango, fragola (strawberry) and cocco (coconut) is a winning combo. Served generously and with pride. My mixed berry sorbet rippled with summer fruits. Sharp acidic with mild sweetness. My little one had the chocolate. He’ll eat nothing else. It was devoured but not before Daddy had a taste. Pure unadulterated high cocoa content chocolate. Just gorgeous. If you’re in Vatican City go here. There are hundreds of gelataria’s in Rome. Some are just far better...
