Nice place to sit and eat the food was mid we had the steak and something they call pintza which was inedible. Steak isn’t one of Rome’s strong points. The story here is there was an indian maybe Bengali server and main waiter Italian. The Indian server asked how the food was when I told him the Pintza was inedible and we didn’t want it he stood and stared at us for a second. ( I think he was trying to intimidate us or make us feel bad. When I asked him what he was staring at or if he was confused and to remove the pintza off the bill. he was like I’ll tell the head waiter, which he never did. Then I asked for the check the check came with the pintza on it. I instructed him again to remove it and he was he said no. I said ok than try to make me pay, at which point he got the waiter called me a bruto and some other words which I didn’t understand. I spoke to the waiter that was understanding and removed it without hesitation and apologized. Moral of the story is place id never go back to eat the poorly made steak or disgusting pintza. Both my son and I had similar opinions on the pintza I was much nicer about it. If you’re the owner of this page you may want to reconsider training the staff on customer service and possible hire someone that knows how to cook steak. Plenty of YouTube...

We experienced just a perfect dinner with amazing staff at this Restaurant.

First of all welcoming of staff and their attitude thought the night was utterly professional and friendly. This was the key poind that made our dinner an unforgettable experience.

We ordered a "bistecca a la fiorentina" which stand for T-bone steak. First of all mest was super juicy and soft and extra delicious. At first place they Cook it rare without asking you, but do not worry, they serve it on a Hot pot and you will still be able to Cook it as medium or well done on your table!

We ordered french fries but then change our minds as baked potatoes. Later a plate of french fries came to the table, even before realised it our waiter took it and change with baked ones immediately. Was such a quick and professional attitude to correct the wistake.

We did enjoy a bottles of White wine as per recommend action of our waiter and it was delicious (name can be found at pictures) highly aromatik delicious wine.

Befor we leave, staff surprise us with a sweet looking biscuit plate and delicious digestives called "limoncello"

Place is in the heart of downtown and so colorful. Meat was sooo delicious. And when these compined with professional and friendly service; then it is...

The waiters were very nice, the place very cute, not too loud.

I took the lamb and it was actually good, although 20 euros just for meat and no side whatsoever apart from some salad and tomatoes fighting each other (and not seasoned).

But the steak and the mix salad were a Ln absolute joke. The steak was not only undercooked for what we asked, it was so thin that there was barely anything to eat. 22 euros for that is incredibly disrespectful.

The worst though, and I'm laughing just writing it down, is the mix salad. How can you be disappointed, right? For 8 euros, you expect more than the bare minimum. Well 😂 Some freshly washed salad, a few tomatoes, corn and black olives. In a small plate. And mind you, NO seasoning whatsoever. No oil, salt, pepper, vinegar, anything would have been appreciated at this point. I should have to ask for anything, they know this is outrageous. Definitely one of the biggest rip off, 8 euros for somethingbworae less than 1 😂

Extremely disappointed, especially when we see the good reviews.

Do not recommend spending your money there. We ending up paying 80 euros for two people, which for the food we have received, is...

I visited Osteria with my family in mid-July 2023, unfortunately I cannot share positive opinions about this restaurant. We waited over 45 minutes for the ordered meal, I know this because I spoke to a friend on the phone after ordering the meal, so it was easy to check. We did not receive a jug with ice for the ordered white wine, only after about 15 minutes after placing the request we received a jug - unfortunately wine had already warmed up. Next to us at the table (the tables are very close) were siting a couple, despite the fact that they ordered only 1 pizza for both of them, they got Focaccia before the meal - unfortunately, we did not. We recieved it with the dish - it were breadsticks. In addition, the couple after the meal, paying a lower bill then we, got at the end free Limoncello - unfortunately we did not. An interesting fact is that when friends of the owner of the restaurant came, they received the dishes at an express pace. Pay attention to the Caprese salad (see the piucture) - 4 slides of tomato with mozzarella for "only" 16 € and tasted avarege. Objectively for sure one of the worse restaurant in Italy we have evere been.
