We were looking for a restaurant near the Trevi fountain and came across this place. It is only a 3 minute walk to the Trevi fountain and is located in a very cute alleyway with other restaurants and lights. Our waiter Rana suggested we start with the Suppli, and get a Spaghetti with Stracciatella and pistachio which wasn’t on the menu and the Cacio e pepe with truffle- he promised us we wouldn’t regret. Both were amazing! The spaghetti was very fresh had a good amount of tomatoes and the stracciatella cheese was the cherry on top! The Cacio e pepe was amazing and the truffle really added depth and richness to the flavor. We also ordered some coffee and tiramisu as per our waiter’s recommendation and they also did not disappoint. Highly suggest this restaurant if you are in the area! Very friendly and attentive service, great atmosphere and amazing food👌🏼

After the restaurant we planned on going to was fully booked we set on a journey to find an alternative. Passing this restaurant I broke the rule I always follow - never go to a restaurant that is being solicited as you pass by. My bad. To begin with, the service was lacklustre to say the least. I don’t really know whom our server was, it was basically the person we could flag down. The fellow who did take our orders didn’t really know the menu, nor the specials. The atmosphere was okay if there weren’t two giant floor model air conditioners blowing our napkins and hair around from two directions. The food had its goods and not so goods. The Caprese salad was actually quite good. My starter was a battered zucchini flower with anchovies. It tasted good but it was overly greasy. We also had some breaded lemon chicken and I had one of the specials, a pasta, clam, mushroom and tomato dish. The chicken was okay and I guess we should have known there were no sides either it, just chicken. The pasta was okay, just the sauce was a little congealed and tasted odd. So overall, a so so experience.

Food: We ordered 6 dishes. Grilled lamb was badly done, meat was very hard and the parts served had a lot of fats and not much meat. Fish head was not cooked. Pork with ham dish looked different from the pictures we saw on google review posted by others. Ours came looking not well pan-fried with no caramalise at all, and the manager was trying to argue it is the same dish cooked the same way. Service: We provided feedback on the differences in picture and food, as well as the overcooked grilled lamb, and all we've received were defensive arguments instead of emphathy. And no comments on the overcooked food. Atmosphere: We sat outside and the seat was closed to the aircon ventilator where hot air is released out. Thus the seat area was very hot. Despite knowing this, the service staff still decided to setup tables at this area. They only asked us if we prefer to shift after we shared our feedback. A good service restaurant should not have even sat customers on this area.

This restaurant is very close by to many highly rated restaurants and hence there is a flow of customers who are not able to find seats in the other restaurants. At first we were invited by the waiter to sit in a very welcoming manner and when we sat and ordered 3 starters (2 adults + a 4 year old child) , a glass of wine and beer, we were asked to order more. How much do you expect 2 adults to eat? And there is a way how you talk to customers. ALl the young servers were sweet, the senior server or manager not sure was the rude one. If there is a limit on your spending, you should mention in the menu or write a huge board in front of your restaurant. We have visited many other restaurants in Italy and ordered much less and received the best of service. What kind of a restaurant treats their customers like this. Now coming to the food, the suppli and krokotten was so oily and tasted bad that whatever we ordered also we couldn’t finish.

The service was bellow absolute any common sense. We went in the restaurant, invited to a table. We ordered just drinks, the waiter took our order and left. 5 minutes later he comes back, explaining us that he cannot serve us just drinks because it was lunch time. The restaurant was nearly empty, I asked him to bring us the coffee and water and we'll be on our way. He refused. I asked to talk to the manager, he told me that the manager doesn't speak English. I explained to the waiter that he should have told us that we need to order food as well before we were invited to the table, not after he took the order and left for 10 minute. I told him that we wasted 20 minutes. He still refused. Again, the place was 3/4 empty. Worse experience and everyone would be advised to avoid this place. On top of that, the bathroom was in a state you don't want to go in at all.

Delightful authentic Italian restaurant located close to the Trevi Fountain. Christian was our server and couldn't fault his service. We ordered the lasagne, side of fries and Margherita pizza to refuel after an intense day of walking. We arrived around 9pm and were seated immediately. We asked for a table inside to avoid the busy street filled with passing tourists, to enjoy a quiet meal. Food and drinks were ordered within 10 minutes, after pursuing the menu and we didn't wait too long for the fresh and tasty food to arrive. Definitely one of our best meals in Rome. With a large bottle of still water and a coke zero, the bill came to 37€ which we thought was a really reasonable price for a good sit down meal. All round a well deserved 5 stars!
