Certainly the prices are a bit higher and the menu items not all traditional Roman dishes but the quality of the food seemed good and the service was very pleasant considering they were dressed in long black outfits in near 100 degree heat. The zucchini flowers were OK, albeit a bit soggy with oil but I would not say they were bad. The only other thing I had was the crispy foccacino bread which was delicious and a caprese salad. The mozzarella was also OK—not Galbani or some fake type—it had a milky texture when sliced and the tomatoes were ripe and fresh. You can do cheaper and more traditional just a few steps further from the tourist attraction of piazza Navona, but you’re not going to have a bad experience here if you just get sick of looking for places and want to sit down to something decent.

We‘ve been here on the 30th of April and loved it! We had such a lovely waitress who took care of us in the best way possible. She recommended the Pasta stuffed with pear and cheese and it was so good… Prior to our visit we had to wait for a table for about five minutes and even got some prosecco during that time. After finishing dinner, I tried some of my granddads „Aglio e Olio“ and it was the best Aglio e Olio I‘ve ever had!!!! We went to several Italian restaurants in Germany and even though it‘s such a simple dish it never reached your level. I also never came close to it trying to cook it at home. Thank you to our lovely waitress and for such a beautiful memory of our last night in Rome! ❤️ All the best from Bremen, Germany!

So good we came twice! A lovely restaurant tucked away, a little quieter than others on the main streets, but a far superior quality. We came on the first night, 6 nights later we came again as we couldn’t find anywhere better. A menu to cater for everyone and more wines than you can shake a stick at! First visit we spent €36 and second visit we treated ourselves and spent €48, there’s room to spend less than this, but also a significant amount more should you wish! A Chefs Special steak from Ireland came in at €90 Lastly, no one approaches you as you walk past trying to pull you in, which became rather annoying from other establishments after a week of it. Should we return to Rome we’ll definitely come back, thank you 🙏

What a wonderful experience! We researched restaurants in the Piazza Navona area prior to coming and had selected this one reading Reeves, etc. Then a friend of our said to DEFINITELY go to this place and have the PEAR PASTA, a dish that other reviewers also recommended. We had a reservation, then had to hope we could push back due to unplanned delayed during the day. Matilda, the hostess and head waiter accommodated us, ensured we had a great table, and actually took care of us herself .We did have the pear pasta and it was BEYOND DESCRIPTION and wonderful. We were going to share one, then decided to each order one and glad we did. Very unique and terrific! The veal dishes were also very good, as was the wine and desserts! So glad we decided to go here. Thank you Matilda for making us very comfortable and feeding us a terrific meal! Can't wait to get back to this...

This place was not my favorite. Considering that there are so many restaurants I would not ever come back again. Some of the staff was nice but our waitress was very short and seemed as if she did not want to deal with us. I got the lasagna and honestly I’ve had much better in the city. This one was fine in terms of flavor but it was cold 🧊 like I don’t understand why or how considering how a lasagna is baked and insulates heat. However, it was nothing to brag home about. I also ordered a second course as it’s traditional to do so and I decided to share it with another person. When they brought it out they placed a side plate in front of me that was visibly dirty! It had green, brown, and red residue on it. We also ordered the veal and it was very dry and seemed overcooked. And one last complaint was that the glasses smelled oddly like...

The incessant shouting around by what must be the lady heading the wait staff ruined the atmosphere. Staff are unorganised, not assigned to specific tables, and seemingly too many so that they step on each there toes. The food was edible, but we’ve eaten better anywhere else in Rome. All the dishes we tried lacked salt except for the carbonara (the carciofi alla romana, the pesto pasta, even the focaccia). The pesto was freshly made, as advertised, but not particularly good. The server who took our order asked if we wanted their focaccia on the side with the artichoke, making it seem as if it came along with it. In the end, we were charged 5€ for some dry, tasteless focaccia. We were also charged for a more expensive pasta dish instead of the pesto one we had ordered, but only noticed after paying. Beware...
