After a long, extremely fun day of exploring Rome, we decided to stop here for dinner, and we were not disappointed! The service was extremely hospitable, the food was served quickly and was absolutely delicious. My husband and I split the burrata bruschetta and the steak tartar. A very charming restaurant with an intimate atmosphere. The food is delicious. We ordered suppli, a prosciutto pizza, a Costata maiale mele patate, a beer, and a juice. The pizza was fantastic, with a crispy crust, a soft, and well-stuffed interior. The Costata was tasty and well-cooked, and the potatoes were okay. Oggi, quasi per caso, passeggiando tra le bellezze senza tempo del Vaticano, abbiamo scoperto una piccola gemma: il ristorante Sant’Uffizio, che – con nostra immensa sorpresa – ha aperto proprio oggi! Non ci aspettavamo nulla… e invece siamo rimasti sbalorditi. Fin dal primo passo dentro il locale, siamo stati accolti con una gentilezza rara e un calore che solo le grandi famiglie sanno trasmettere. Un ringraziamento speciale va al signor Pasquale, professionista attento e cordiale, capace di farci sentire subito nel posto giusto, al momento giusto. Il menù è un’ode alla cucina italiana autentica, con piatti preparati con ingredienti di prima qualità, sapientemente lavorati per esaltarne i sapori. Il tutto accompagnato da un servizio impeccabile, discreto ma sempre presente. È raro trovare un ristorante che unisca così bene passione, eccellenza e accoglienza sincera, specialmente al centro di Roma e in una zona turistica. Sant’Uffizio ci ha conquistati con la sua eleganza semplice e con una cucina che parla al cuore prima ancora che al palato.
