Pizza was delicious!!! The crust is the best part of the pizza. It’s thin, light, and crispy. With my parents, I ordered one margharita pizza and one Napoli (sardines). Yum!! 😋 after I ate 4 slices, I really wanted to order another pizza to take back with us to the hotel. I resisted the temptation lol… ! I love the crust so much. I really love the melty cheese and the delicious tomato sauce base. It’s the best pizza I’ve had in recent memory. This pizza was much better than the last pizza I ate. The last pizza I ate was in Florence, drenched in oil, and still very delicious. But I’d rather have a crust like pinsa.

Avevo salvato su google maps questo locale che fa la pinsa romana, situata in una delle traverse di Via Nazionale è situata in una posizione dove il passaggio della clientela è principalmente quella di turisti stranieri che alloggiano in una delle miriadi di hotel e case vacanza di zona. Facile quindi pensare che la qualità possa essere di basso livello, ma mi incuriosiva molto il fatto che avesse una votazione altissima rispetto a molte pizzerie di zona. Il locale non è molto grande ha dei banconi bar dove sedersi e un tavolino fuori per cui molto clienti ordinano d’asporto o mangiano camminando. Però il locale è abbastanza carino e pulito, fuori dal locale è sempre parcheggiata una bicicletta che da quel tocco di classicismo che non guasta mai. Venendo alla pinsa, ci sono tutti i gusti immaginabili, sia carnivori che vegani. Ci sono anche i supplì e vengono proposti anche alcune pietanze tipiche della cultura araba essendo il gestore di quelle origini. Il locale fa parte anche dell’associazione di pinse romane originali, sinceramente non sapevo neanche dell’esistenza di questo tipo di associazione ed è la prima volta che vedo questa etichetta in una pinseria. Ordino uno dei miei gusti preferiti che è la boscaiola, iniziò ad assaggiarla e devo dire che era molto buona, bella croccante sotto, un impasto molto ben fatto e digeribile, forse leggermente povera di ingredienti, un po’ più di funghi e salsiccia sarebbe stata perfetta. Ho preso anche un supplì classico e non era male, ma nulla di eccezionale. Tutto sommato mi allineo con i voti alti perché la zona è sicuramente molto turistica, a differenza di molto locali mangia turisti, chi capita in questo locale sicuramente potrà avere un’esperienza reale della vera pinsa romana.

This was my last meal in Rome, and right next to my Airbnb! It was so gooood, very satisfying and felt like a home cooked meal. We had the margherita pizza, the porcini pasta and the chicken wings. The pizza was super tasty with a home made tomato sauce, the pasta was super flavorful, and the wings were giving me really happy comfort food vibes. The owner/chef, God bless his soul and restaurant, was so nice and accommodating to us. He even threw in Falafels on the house which was such a nice gesture and was supremely tasty. Thank you so much!

This was my last meal in Rome, and right next to my Airbnb! It was so gooood, very satisfying and felt like a home cooked meal. We had the margherita pizza, the porcini pasta and the chicken wings. The pizza was super tasty with a home made tomato sauce, the pasta was super flavorful, and the wings were giving me really happy comfort food vibes. Pinsallegra was nearby our hotel, and with my wife being tired I thought it would be nice to get some takeout food or maybe pizza to go. The staff there were very friendly and the food came relatively quickly. The interior of the restaurant was clean and had nice pictures up and has plenty of seating even for those waiting to take food home. The food was a little bit disappointing, my pizza came with barely any sauce on it, to the point where it was almost dry, and the pasta we had came with very little sauce, as well as the carbonara having way too much pepper in it, so much to the point where you couldn’t even eat it. I would say the pizza is a 6.5/10 and the carbonara was a 2/10. Still not a bad place to go if you want some takeaway food, I just wouldn’t recommend...

Came here after Quel che c'e laboratorio told us to kick rocks after walking 20 minutes up hill to get to their restaurant 30 minutes before they close for the afternoon.

Anyway, I'm glad things turned out the way they did because we ended up coming here instead which also closes for the afternoon at the same time as the other restaurant, but they welcomed us nicely. We had the buffalo special pizza which has buffalo mozzarella, basil, tomato sauce and cherry tomatoes and a plate of carbonara. Both were delicious and very affordable 5-7 EUR each.

Highly recommend coming...
