This is our absolute favorite gelato spot in Rome. And believe me- we tried a lot of them! Itā€™s fresh and delicious. They also have gelato making classes before they open. They are super fun and friendly. The salted pistachio is my favorite!! It is a must try. This gelato is kept in metal tins under counter level and is covered with a lid. This means the gelato is being stored at the correct temperature. A lot of places use bright colors (dyes) and piles of gelato (means they are using lots ofĀ vegetable fats and emulsifiers to stop the gelato from melting) to attract tourists. Stay away from those places.

We had great service, I tried the pistachio and on the recommendation of our server also tried the salted pistachio. My wife had the caramel which was like a candy melting in your mouth! Our choices were absolutely delicious. We always look for gelato that is in covered bins and served with spatulas instead of scoops - this checked both boxes along with the natural colors of their product. We will definitely be back!

Nice, artisanal gelato shop near Piazza Repubblica. Excellent strawberry flavor, along with some interesting combinations like "Persian" (rose and cardamom) and "crunchy cherry". We also did an excellent, kid-friendly hour long gelato making class with a fun instructor. There is a lot of excellent gelato in Rome, and honestly this probably doesn't rank in the top 10, but if you're in the area and looking for some good quality product (or want to take a class) this is a great spot.

We stayed around the corner on our visit to Rome and we visited every day! This was without question our favorite gelato spot after over a week in 3 different Italian cities. Iā€™m not one to branch out when I get gelato - Iā€™ve got my favorite go-to combo of pistachio and fondente. I donā€™t realize at my first visit that the chocolate sorbette (I think thatā€™s what it was called) is their fondente, so I went with the milk chocolate. It was delicious. But when I learned they actually had my beloved fondente it was AMAZING! Pistachio was outstanding as well. But hear me outā€¦ Rome is so so hot. SO hot! I needed something a little more refreshing, so I got the lime-mint on my last two visits and Iā€™m telling you it is the most incredible thing youā€™ll ever have on a hot summer day! Iā€™ll be dreaming of the lime-mint until the next time I can return to...
