Miami Pub — Restaurant in Rome

Got the Fish burger that said it had pastel cod, I asked and they said fish. Once it arrived, it had a processed fish patty that was a pink gey colour (cod is white) and was worse than a processed chicken nugget. I did tell them I couldn't eat it, was it tasted disgusting and they said that's just how it is and we're very rude to me when I went to pay. My Dad had the fish & chips & that was an actual piece of deep fried Cod, not sure why I got something different. Perhaps the Italian to English menu b translation is inaccurate and it should be updated from pastel fish to fish paste.... The staff were rude from when we arrived, as my father didn't want a drink. This place was a blast! If you’re an American tourist in Rome I cannot recommend Miami Pub enough. We spent 10 days in Rome and we came here every night, it kind of became our anchor point because it actually really reminded us of home, a quality that can kind of help when you’re traveling and exhausted and maybe even a tiny bit homesick. The owner and all the bartenders were so much fun and totally welcoming and hospitable. They remembered us every night after the first night and made sure to make us feel at home. If we ever travel back to Rome, which we must at some point, you better believe our butts will be in the same seats having shots of Montenegro. Ciao until...

My wife and I stopped here on our honeymoon for drinks after dinner. Great spot, live music was amazing and we even got a few song requests in. Manager running the place was super friendly and even brought us some chips on the house after we had a couple drinks. There were even a few regulars there you could see had good relationships with the staff and were having a blast singing and dancing to the Italian songs. I’d definitely recommend this as a place to stop to cap a night, we didn’t try the food but based on how friendly and attentive the staff was even compared to other stops I’d have to guess they pay good attention to the food quality....
