AVOID AVOID AVOID. We chose to eat here as it looked authentic and we only wish we read some of these reviews before. The food was horrible, like it had been reheated from frozen. My partner had pizza, and after speaking with the table next to us who came for pizza, they decided not to order as his looked so bad. We had starter and main and had to stack our starter plates on our table as they weren’t to be taken away. The service was awful, taking ages and the make who seemed to be the manager for the evening was talking to the staff so horribly (one in particular) it made us feel uncomfortable and we couldn’t even understand what he was saying. We had to ask for the bill 3 times before we got it (I’m not sure what they think they can add a 10% service charge for) and when we went to pay the card machine connection was playing up (read the other reviews). We tried paying by card twice and kept being told five minutes. I’m not sure if they do this to encourage you to pay cash, or delay you leaving so it looks busy. We were told we had to go down to an atm to withdraw cash five minutes away - I wanted to go with my partner, and not be alone in a city I don’t know, but they were forceful in telling me I cannot leave, despite having means to pay with a card with me. He just insisted it wasn’t his fault (it absolutely was). The atm was out of order so we had to withdraw inside a shop, with a €10 charge! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pummarola Ristorante Pizzeria and was truly impressed by the exceptional staff and service I received throughout my entire experience. From the moment I walked in, the friendly and attentive staff made me feel welcome and ensured that I had everything I needed. One of the highlights of my visit was the local appetizer that was recommended to me by the staff. It was bursting with authentic flavors and showcased the best of the region's cuisine. I highly recommend trying it for a true taste of the area's culinary delights btw i didn’t like it at all. Moving on to the main dishes, I found them to be absolutely delicious. 2025, and from start to finish, everything was simply outstanding. The food was a perfect 10/10, the service 10/10, and the overall experience 10/10 — flawless in every way.

We were a group of friends, all vegetarian, and one of us needed gluten-free options. The restaurant catered to everyone’s needs perfectly. They offered gluten-free pizza and pasta, which was such a pleasant surprise — I tried the pizza which tasted amazing! The gluten-free pizza base was light, crispy, and full of flavour, easily one of the best we’ve tried.

Every dish we ordered was fresh, authentic, and packed with that true Italian taste. You could tell that everything was made with care and quality ingredients.

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. They also took the time to explain ingredients and recommend dishes suitable for our dietary preferences, which we really appreciated.

The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and perfect for an evening out with friends. Prices were also very reasonable considering the excellent quality of both food and service.
