We indulged in an incredible spread: lobster, oysters, and much more, all prepared with the freshest catch of the day. You can truly taste the quality and care that goes into each dish. The lobster was tender and rich, the oysters were as fresh as it gets, and everything else we ordered was equally impressive.

The staff made the night even more special. Their service was warm, professional, and attentive without being intrusive. You can tell they take pride in what they do.

The ambiance is elegant but inviting, an experience for both the eyes and the palate.

What made it truly memorable, though, was sharing this incredible meal with good friends. The Crab Restaurant delivered on every level, quality, service, and atmosphere.

Before going to Rome, my Italian friend gave me the most important piece of advice I got: "Don't eat at restaurants near tourist spots. They're more expensive and the food sucks".

For the most part, he was right. We sampled some overpriced places with bad service all over the city. Being right next to the Colosseum, I expected this restaurant to be the same but we booked it anyway because we were hungry from walking.

Surprise, surprise. This was, beyond any doubt, the best food we had throughout our 2 week trip. Their free bread is quite possibly the best bread we've ever had and I even offered to buy some to bring back to my country (they don't sell it, they gave me some for free). Their seafood is so fresh like it just came out of the ocean and their pasta is sublime.

American here who traveled to Italy. It’s near the colosseum like a 8 min walk which isn’t bad. I never searched it up on Google I just started walking and I liked the atmosphere of it. The waiter…forgot his name but he was nice enough to translate to us in English and help us with recommendations. My sister got the crab with pasta and I got the lobster with pasta and my friend got the pasta white sauce with clams I’m sorry I forgot the exact name of it but mentioned those names and they’ll understand what you are asking for and the portions are good sizes. As for appetizers I wasn’t going to get any but I highly recommend if you love tiramisu get it!
