Nice big restaurant with air conditioning and also an outside seating area. Service was sketchy and we never really knew whom our waiter or waitress was the two times we ate here. My husband and I came for dinner and we waited about 15 minutes before anyone got us water or assisted us. Eventually Elena helped us and she was very sweet and friendly. We appreciate her service and that first night we had a great food experience (the night before we had bad food elsewhere so we were delighted to find good food) as we had gnocchi, pizza and caprese.. we also brought a burger home for our daughter. We loved the gnocchi and the pizza- they were hot and cooked perfectly and just flavorful. Service was very slow but the food was great so we felt it was worth the awful service where you never know who’s serving you. The people are friendly, just no one knows whose your server is and I think that contributes to ridiculously long waits…

our next experience was awful. It was the next day and we brought our daughter with us (even though she disliked her burger that we brought from carry out the night before)….. over 15 minute wait before someone even came to our table or delivered water. We ordered gnocchi and pizza again as we figured it was safe because we really enjoyed it which is why we were back. Pizza was not cooked enough with cheese just inconsistent. The gnocchi had a totally different flavor and it wasn’t an improvement.

Long story short- based on these two very different food experiences we would not be back.

Based on nearly non existent service we would never recommend… please know that All the people we interacted with were friendly, just not helpful. We tried to get peoples attention just to get water as we’d come from a hot 3 hour tour… never got it on the second experience…. Maybe you wonder why we stayed? We thought the food would be as good as the night before- it wasn’t. And it took 20 minutes to get our bill after asking 4 different people…. Remember in Italy, tipping isn’t normal and usually only a few euros if great service … i am mad at myself for forgetting that as they have the machines that ask for American standard tips 10%, 15% and 20%… we stupidly did 15% the first night and if Elena gets that it would be okay as she was super friendly and tried to be there but they have these servers zig zagging everywhere.. the next day the waitress we only saw once and took 20 minutes to get our bill and water and was kind of snotty… well -anyway, we DO not recommend inconsistent food and inconsistent/awful service!!

Please get everyone water as it’s hot out there!!! If the servers had ownership of a table it makes a customer feel more secure about service and food…

Finally, waitress recommended the 25 euro plate of mixed fish for our daughter and told us how great it is…. Poor 13 year old discovered she doesn’t love faces on her fried fish and shrimp and what looked like a snake and honestly the dish looked awful to me but she enjoyed...

During our stay in Rome, we decided to try out Pizza Fórum Restaurant, drawn in by its warm atmosphere and the service quality mentioned by other customers. We were particularly pleased with a Spanish-speaking waiter, which greatly facilitated our communication and enhanced our dining experience. The pizza served was undeniably delicious, meeting our flavor expectations.

However, our experience was dimmed by a significant delay in service. After ordering two pizzas, we witnessed the arrival of a large school group of about 30 children. Surprisingly, all their orders were fulfilled before ours, leading to a 50-minute wait for our pizzas. This incident was a source of frustration, given our expectation for quicker service.

Upon requesting the bill, we were surprised by an additional "service charge". Aware that such a fee is not mandatory in Italy, we would have been more inclined to pay it had we not experienced such delay. When we questioned the manager about this charge, his response was unexpectedly brusque, insisting on the fee's necessity based on the restaurant's internal policies, despite common practices in Italy suggesting otherwise. I must highlight that, in our extensive dining experiences across Rome, this was the only restaurant that insisted on this charge, suggesting a potential exploitation of unsuspecting tourists.

After some debate, the fee was removed from our bill, but the episode left a bitter taste, starkly contrasting with the food and atmosphere's quality. While other reviews also mention similar concerns with the service charge, we believe the restaurant would benefit from reviewing its policies to align more closely with customer expectations and common practices in Italy.

In summary, despite the excellent pizza quality and pleasant atmosphere, the management of service expectations and the rigid approach to the service fee make us hesitant to recommend Pizza Fórum Restaurant. We hope the establishment will consider customer feedback to improve the overall experience, making it as memorable as...

Came across this restaurant while searching for a place to eat near the Colleseum late at night. This was one of the few places that had good reviews and were open late at night. One cannot take the Google rating of restaurants in Rome at face value. I’ve come across plenty which are rated 4.5+ by tens of thousands of people which deserve less than 4 stars in reality. I was afraid this was also in this category, but I still decided to eat here due to the limited open options in the vicinity. And boy, I am ever so happy for that leap of faith in times of desperation.

My spouse and I shared a Napoleon pizza which was perfectly baked in a wood fired oven, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The mozeralla cheese used in the pizza was of great quality which made for a delicious pizza, even in the absence of any sauce (nor white nor red). The pizza was gulped up within a few minutes.

Of all the desserts, the tiramisu is the only one made in-house which led me to order it. I was once again pleasantly surprised. The tiramisu had a creamy silky smooth texture and had the right amount of sweetness. The ladyfinger’s texture complimented the creamy tiramisu perfectly. Along with the cocoa dusting, the 3 made for a pleasant dessert and pushes this tiramisu to be the best I’ve had in Italy.

Would happily recommend this place to everyone and anyone. The service was great, food was delicious and appropriately priced, even after being situated in such a...
