The food is not tasty, the tomato sauce is super dirty and little and the cheese tastes like it was made in a factory and like it is made of plastic. The pizza is also super dry and has a nauseating aftertaste. At the beginning you get bread that is also super dry and has no taste! We asked for olive oil and it wasn't that special. We finished eating and got the bill where we were charged 7.50 for the bread. I calmly and normally asked why it was so expensive and he and his colleague started shouting at me that it was on the menu and that you pay to sit. I said that I didn't think that was normal and that I actually didn't want to pay that. We also received the menu AFTER the bread and we didn't know we were being charged for it! The waiter became very angry at this comment and started shouting at me in the middle of the restaurant, which I, as a 16 year old who does not speak the language, could do nothing about and therefore had to pay the bill under pressure. So don't eat here, the food is nasty, watch out for the waiters and JUST...

Usually, I am not someone who leaves negative public reviews, but after this experience, I felt compelled to share my disappointment.

When we arrived, we were seated and waited about 10 minutes before a waiter approached, only to abruptly toss the menus onto our table without saying a word. Although this struck us as unusual, we decided to stay and order some drinks and desserts. However, we were then left waiting for more than 20 minutes, repeatedly trying to get the attention of the staff, who unfortunately seemed to ignore us completely.

When a waiter finally approached, we explained that we would like to order drinks and desserts. To our surprise, he responded quite rudely, telling us that this is a restaurant and that if we weren’t planning to have a full meal, we needed to leave. This was particularly confusing and upsetting, considering that other guests around us were also simply having drinks without any issue.

Overall, the service we experienced was extremely disappointing and left us...

To be honest, the low score was not entirely because of the food- the prices were normal for Rome, the portions were big enough, the food was relatively tasty. My main concern was the fraud with the bread-they brought us few breadsticks and dry slices of bread without us asking and charged us even though we didn't touch them, SO TURN DOWN THE BREAD its not worth it. The risotto was pretty liquid and not the right consistency and had some crunchy shrimp particles. The carbonara tasted too heavy, like grease, and the pieces of the bacon looked extremely fatty. The scenery was nice, although the noice from tre road was considerably annoying. The waiter was okay-he seemed to know only a bit english, he was nice, but we had to go inside to get his attention in order to be seated. Overall, not the worst, but I hate cheap scams like the one with the bread so I'd say it wasn't worth it, I'm sure you can find better food...

I have yet to have a bad meal in Rome and this place is no exception. With its old fashion appeal, time-stained walls, and picnic-styled tablecloths, the restaurant displays a simple yet enticing allure. The food was amazing; however, my one critique is the lasagna portion is not big enough. We ordered three lasagnas and one fettuccine with tomato basil sauce. The lasagna was delicious, don’t get me wrong, but it left me wanting more. The fettuccine, on the other hand, was piled high and plentiful. With a vacancy in my stomach, I settled for a caffe latte. Honestly, they have the best cafe latte I’ve ever had in Rome. On this rainy day it was the perfect mix of warm and comfort with a creamy, soft finish - very soothing. Overall, this was a good find with great food. Just remember, if you’re hungry avoid the lasagna or get two for yourself. Enjoy.

Nice dinner with a great Italian atmosphere We had dinner at Sor’ Eva and ordered 2 pizzas and 2 pasta dishes. The pizza was made with tasty and high-quality ingredients, which we appreciated. However, the crust was a bit too thin and crunchy for my taste – I’m a fan of Neapolitan-style pizza, so that might explain it. The Carbonara pasta was a little dry, but still flavorful, especially thanks to the excellent bacon. The service was very friendly and the setting had a lovely, authentic Italian vibe. I’d recommend this restaurant mainly for the great ambiance. Overall, I’d rate the experience 6.5/10.

Dinned at this cozy spot just outside the Vatican and was impressed by the quality of some of the dishes. The carbonara and ravioli were truly outstanding—perfectly cooked pasta with rich, flavorful seasoning that made every bite delightful. The seasoning really elevated the dishes. However, the meat steak was somewhat disappointing in comparison. While it was cooked decently, it lacked the same vibrancy in flavor and felt a bit average next to the pasta dishes. Overall, it's definitely a place worth visiting, especially if you’re a pasta lover looking for great Italian flavors near the Vatican!
