Absolutely love this place. The food is incredible. The staff are so lovely & done everything & more for us. We actually have been back 3 times over 2 days. We celebrated my daughter’s 21st there & we were given Prosecco on arrival, such a kind gesture. As I say all of the staff are amazing, nothing was too much trouble for them, they went above & beyond. One woman in particular(maybe the owner, unsure) was so understanding with my 13 year old son who has adhd & autism. She made sure all the staff knew this & they all made his time there a great experience. He was happy, calm & felt at ease & for me they is everything. He had the steak & that was nearly the size of his plate. Couldn’t fault the place at all! I’ve seen past reviews & I genuinely don’t understand them. I can’t fault anything at all, everything we’ve had has been delicious(best we’ve had so far tbh) and the staff really made us feel welcome. Amazing food, amazing staff & everything really is great value for money. The breakfasts….oh my goodness, they are delicious & you really do get so much...
Read moreIf you are craving over-priced garbage with a side of disappointment, stomach cramps, and just a hint of nausea then you have found your perfect restaurant. We ordered 4 entrées - 2 spaghetti and meatballs, 1 fettuccine alfredo and 1 seafood spaghetti. The pasta was rubbery and sauces were oily & watered down. My seafood tasted liked it came from a can and it was definitely not fresh. The meatballs had the consistency of spam. 3 of us sent our food back after a few bites as we became nauseated shortly after eating. While we were seated we watched another man run to the washroom to vomit and another table couldn't finish more than a few bites. Our server offered to bring us a different entrée but after the experience we had lost all faith in this restaurant. We were charged close to 100€ to "enjoy" a meal that I can absolutely make better at home in Canada. I should note that all 4 of us ended up with nausea, cramping and/or diarrhea after eating our meal. ...
Read moreTrattoria Suggestum It is "price friendly" restaurant at the end of the rather luxury Via Vittorio Veneto, not far from the Piazza Barberini square (metro). We were attracted by the tables with red covers, placed outside on the street. I ordered spaghetti carbonara, my wife chose risotto with sea food. We were waiting about 15 minutes. The restaurant is half-full (Monday, 8:00 pm), Italian music plays from the radio, I try to sing along with Eros Ramazzotti. Carbonara was still hot, when served. Bacon and egg-ish sauce. I have never been offered salt here in Italy, I observe, and I do not need it ... the food tastes well without further taste enhancements. This spaghetti tastes of spice, maybe pepper. We pay 26 euro for two spaghettis and an orange juice.
Trattoria Suggestum Cenovo dostupná a čistá reštaurácia na konci luxusnejšej ulice Via Vittorio Veneto, neďaleko Piazza Barberini. Na večernej prechádzke nás presvedčili stolíky s červenými obrusmi rozložené na ulici. Objednávam si spaghetti carbonara, manželka rizoto s plodmi mora. Čakáme asi 15 minút. Carbonara je ešte horúca. Slanina a žltá omáčka z vajec a parmezánu.
