Worst. Dinner. Ever.
The first problem of the night was the directions to the venue. The cab dropped us off far away from the restaurant, and the directions were indecipherable. It was only because a US ex-pat recognized we were lost and took pity on us that we found the restaurant at all. The directions from the restaurant were unhelpful in the extreme. In fairness, the venue was beautiful overlooking the Tiber River, but the positive aspects of the evening ended there. The service was mediocre at best, but the food was inedible. I have eaten many meals and Italy, and this was, hands down, the worst meal. Ever. In Italy. The prepaid meal came with a single glass of wine, but every Coca-Cola thereafter was €5. The band also complained when we attempted to talk between ourselves which was more like shouting in each others ears because we couldn't hear anything over the excessively loud music. Maybe the acoustics in the other main structure are better. The waiters were excellent in their service. I think they should have clarified the main place was booked off before accepting...
Read moreDram restaurant boat is located right on the river with indoor and outdoor seating. The view and atmosphere are pleasant and relaxing. The service was very good, polite and courteous. The food was good as well but average with no gluten free options (other than salad) and limited menu (we originally read the reviews that suggested that they may be available). The tables on the water were very peaceful and pleasant. On the night we visited, the restaurant had a music quartet that included percussion, vocals, string bass and piano. The restaurant looked modern, clean and...
