ViVi - Piazza Venezia — Restaurant in Rome

Loved this place😍It was such a perfect ending of my trip! Walked in simply because of Vivi name and decor I saw from outside while shopping, actually came 40min before they were closing. 😂 But turned out to be best 40 minutes of that day:) Their pizza Romana was Unbelievable!!!, so heavenly gentle and yammi😍, cheese cacio and honey, never tried anything like that before. Actually Federica (one of the staff) suggested it for me. And I'm so thankful for that choice! Exactly what I needed. Id probably come back to Rome just for that pizza again🤣 its like unique creation of this place, like mix of two Roman favourites together if I understood correctly. You gotta try it. Had Spritz which was also very very nicely done. Watching people passing by in that small low window is also kind of unique experience to me. Great vibe there overall! Plan on wasting a lot of time waiting for any type of service. 1st time there, they finally pick up previous people’s mess left behind, but failed to wipe up the wet table! Got tired of the excuses, that they’ll come and clean, eventually left and went else to get food! Second try for breakfast another day, opened up 10 minutes later than should have, first in door, and they are still setting up behind the counter, and taking care of the walk in to go orders. Once again, waiting for table service, and as usual it’s nonexistent! Left once again to get breakfast elsewhere! If you’re hungry, expect terrible service, if you expect to eat. Do better by going over to Bibo Restaurant around the corner, much better food and great service...

Beware! Terrible place! Careless personnel!!! Very dirty toilet. Bad food! Nisouise salad with canned tuna, poached egg was boiled, cold coffee that was supposed to be hot. I ordered a plain croissant she brought me multigrain. And a bread basket which was NOT a compliment but they do bot bother to warn you. Didn’t offer water. I asked why 3,5€ bread is in the bill - i didn’t order it. She said: we bring it to everyone with water. I said: but you didn’t bring me water. I thought it’s coming along with 3,5€ bread. She brings me water with a new bill - she added 3€ for water!!! I tried to negotiate, she made me cry! Then the manager came explaining how they work, interrupting me all the time, rude snd mean.
