Wine Bar De' Penitenzieri — Restaurant in Rome

I think this was, by far, the best restaurant experience I've ever had, for several reasons (it's going to be long 😅) First of all, shout out to our AMAZING waiter Alessandro, the one reaponsible for making our dinner so memorable. With my sister we visited Rome on a very tight budget, so we were using this app so as to save some money with the discounts, and we also chose to share some plates and even a single bottle of coke, to save a couple euros. Alessandro not only perfectly understood that we wanted to share everything that we ordered, providing two glasses for the coke, two bowls for the soup, and two plates for the pizza, but ALSO gifted us a drink and a bruschetta to each of us as an appetizer saying "it's one for each, no need to share!! Welcome", and finally a limoncello sort of dessert. He also brought every course at a perfect timing, one right after the other. Finally, he also helped us get a taxi to the bus station, again, right on time, as we told him by what time we needed to be there (quite soon)

Terrible. Do NOT go here. We had a waiter who was incredibly unprofessional and rude. Bald guy with a beard. The temperature was set to 29 degrees upon coming in, it was way too warm and asked if it could be turned down. His reaction was to say “what about me? I will be cold if I turn it down”. Later on, when bringing our bruschettas he decided to be petty and gave all 6 other guests their plate first and then joke about how I’m getting mine last. How childish. Later on, one of the guests found a piece of plastic in their food. How would plastic reach a plate of risotto and mushrooms? Of course at least they did not charge the risotto.
