We've been in Sicily for 8 days and are craving for something non-Italian, and came upon this place while driving into town, so we stopped by. The owners are Chinese and came to Italy 20 years ago, and after speaking to her in Mandarin, she gave us a Chinese language menu, and the food was tasty and authentic. They also have a normal menu for locals (their main customer group) for those so We got a steamed sea bass (€13), and small portions of Mapo Tofu, Bok Choi, and spicy shrimp. Delicious and exactly what we needed. We also ordered some Chinese desserts -- Zongzi (sticky rice with red bean paste inside and wrapped in reed leaves) and Tangyuan (rice balls with sesame paste inside in a sweet soup) -- refreshing! Strongly recommend anyone looking for a change of cuisine or just want some good authentic...

Once we felt enough pizza and pasta, finding this place was a win. Felt sceptical about how good the Chinese food can be here until I tried the first dish. Amazing dumplings, especially with shrimp, are hard to find like this in the US. I had to go through almost all kinds of dumplings, and they are great. Fresh and full of flavor. Would recommend wonton soup, needs a hint of salt to make you come back for it. The owner is super sweet and her husband is a chief and you can feel the harmony of their history. We had to come four times to taste new things. I also got a sheet for a healthy food schedule, which is a great little tip for staying in good shape when traveling. Adding the screenshot of it as well might be useful:) prices are very reasonable and would be one of the favorite Chinese...

This was our second time eating at this Chinese restaurant. We liked it from time to time.

Food: Very good taste, spicy is spicy and not oversalted or too much MSG. We really recommend the dim sum.

Price: Very reasonable, especially for Ortigia

Location: Inconspicuous and somewhat hidden from the outside. Inside it's okay. There is definitely a lack of natural light, but there is not much that can be done structurally. In general, it was always clean and not too loud during our visit.

Service: As far as I could see, only the owner couple works in the restaurant. English is okay but Italian would be better. Otherwise neither friendly nor unfriendly, somehow distant...

If you’re craving any kind of Asian food in Sicily, this is a delicious gem on Ortigia! Everything we had was delicious and that hits a high bar coming from Seattle where we have great dim sum in the ID. Portions are on the smaller size compared to the US style of Chinese food, but the price matches so you can have multiple dishes for a great value. We had 3 different dumplings, soup, fried rice, fried chicken and a tofu dish for €33 (+beer and a water) and were too full for dessert! The owners are lovely and make all the dumplings fresh and by hand. Highly recommend!
