For my first ever Italian meal in Italy, I let Google take the wheel and suggest this place to me, and boy I'm really happy I did! The staff are lovely, and some even speak English which I was very glad for, seeing that my Italian is quite frankly shockingly poor. For my starter I had the tuna and salmon tartar, with a healthy crust of pepper on top this is truly divine. My second course was from the Primi menu, and I had the sausage orrechetti - having recently had this dish in London I was keen to compare. And while the restaurant in London did a truly amazing job with this dish, Bottega Mia had it beat as this just melted in the mouth and felt rich and smooth in all the best ways. Lastly, one must follow up with a Lemoncello, as no Italian meal is truly complete without this lovely palate cleanser! So, to sum up, I had a wonderful meal here, and while I can't compare to other Italian restaurants within Italy (yet), it certainly blows the top London Italian places out of...

The most horrendous salad I have ever had. Supposed to be made of cooked and raw veggies but it was a disgusting combination of random vegetables in gross sauce. With flowers and burnt cheese crisps. The veggies included 5 lettuce leaves, roasted tomatoes, roasted eggplant (without the skin - just oily) and a variety of cooked and pickled turnip and radishes. And 3 olives. This salad was SO gross it must’ve been made by someone who never eats vegetables. We were just at the market this morning and saw the most gorgeous variety of fresh veggies I don’t know how this salad can exist. Granted Torino is not known for its veggie dishes in restaurants but this was truly horrible. Service was very kind and the location is beautiful. The other food looked good. Do not...

We had the most amazing food in this little restaurant on the square. It was an accidental amazing meal that we stumbled upon when we couldn’t find a restaurant to eat in. Being vegetarian I found it such a relief to find multiple options I could order. One being the starter of my dreams! Pickled vegetables and asparagus with an amazing lemon/ soy sauce. Will think about this meal forever as the starter and pad Thai are now on my dream menu :)
