This was the best meal I ever had in my life!!! I ordered the vegetarian menu and each course was perfection. The vegetables were so fresh, colorful and perfectly cooked. The wait staff was friendly, charming and attentive and each course was perfectly timed so as to come out hot and fresh as soon as I was ready. And it wasn’t just fresh, it was a veritable art-form of flavors. The chef was masterful in letting each ingredient shine without overshadowing its natural flavor. My sister had the calzone and the zucchini was tender but not mushy and seemed as though it came straight from the farm to the table. Great family place, whether for coffee/pastry or for lunch. The food and pastries are all made on site--go back in the kitchen and you'll invariably see the Mama or one of the sons laying out fresh pasta with a rolling pin. One of the signature dishes of Turin is the famed agnalotti al sugo d'arrosto, which are meat-filled ravioli. But even though I had previously visited the supposedly best agnalotti restaurants on fashionable Via Lagrange, I was highly disappointed: their ravioli were not only tiny, thumb-sized, and rather few--but I didn't find the flavor particularly good. We travel to Italy a couple times per year and enjoy authentic local food. We avoid commercial stuff.

This place is the perfect combination of authentic delicious food, incredible and great hospitality, location and value/price.

Agostino took care of us making us feel like we were visiting friends. This is something very rare in terms of hospitality.

He provided excellent recommendations, never rushed us and even gave us some freebies!

We never have dined at the same restaurant more than once while on vacation and that is what we did at Conte Verde. We even noticed other people from our previous night also repeating.
