Al Prosecco — Restaurant in Venice

Traveling in August 2018, I found this location which we ate at back in 1998. I was surprised to see it still open. I noticed several local people here, and the square it is on is nice, as the local kids play outside here. (Soccer, hid e and seek). There is a full menu, with lots of pizza, we opted for a pasta and speck dish, the pasta was homemade, as well as a veal in a lemon sauce. Both were outstanding, and the best we had in Venice. Nice Setting and the Aperol Spritz was very good, and good value. Had a couple of small rolls feshly made from the bar, they were tasty, however I felt the guy serving was a bit blunt with us, if you were Italian then he was fine, but as a foreigner I felt that he couldn't care to much, when we went to talk to him, he told us to wait, and that does not go down very well with me. My favorite spot to do some wine tasting while in Venice. The owner was very friendly, and the selection of prosecco was great. Each and every one we sampled had great flavor, and was unique. Much different than anything I've tried in the US. The location is great too, overlooking a city square where you're away from the touristy crowd.
