Bar Ristorante Autorimessa — Restaurant in Venice

If you’re black skip this place. Whoever the blonde woman was working December 2nd at 1pm; was extremely racist towards my friend who is black and was with me. Kept ignoring us, didn’t serve us bread like everyone else and served other tables water that came in after us. Had to get her coworkers to get her to come to us and we could see she kept trying to serve and do other tasks to ignore us, she never looked over. Wouldn’t look us in the face and was rude when we had to chase her down for the check and told us we couldn’t get a pizza with half salami and half cheese which doesn’t make since. Horrible service. Absolutely disgusting behavior. We could see how she served others, she was punctual and friendly with other customers who were her skin tone, but hateful towards us because my friend is black. We visited this restaurant yesterday. Everything here is very expensive and of poor quality. The cannoli was simply disgusting – stale, too hard, tasteless. The Greek salad, for some reason, contained corn and carrots but no olives. For the child – and I specifically mentioned it was for a child – they made sour ice cream that none of us could eat, just like the cannoli. The service was terrible: the waiters kept forgetting everything, we had to get up and ask for things ourselves, while they just talked to each other and tried to lure in passers-by. They brought us someone else’s bill (I got the impression that someone left without paying, and it was their check). The toilet floor was sticky, wasps and flies kept landing on the food, and we paid over 80 euros for a pizza, Greek salad, cannoli, ice cream, two non-alcoholic beers, and apple juice....

Worst customer service ever. I arrived there and had to wait for about 45 minutes to be attended to. Meanwhile the customers around me were being served. Efforts to alert the waiters were in vain because they kept ignoring me. Finally after i gave my order they demanded me to pay immediately even before receiving my order saying that i might disappear without paying. I asked him why i am the only one receiving this kind of treatment because everyone else is paying after having their meal. He coudnt explain but just said that i must pay first. At last he agreed i should pay after the meal. But i was already angry and disappointed that i did not even enjoy the meal.
