Arcicchetti Bakaro – A Place Full of Soul, Flavor, and Kindness 🇮🇹🍷
This was the first place I wanted to try in Venice, drawn by the charm of Cicchetti and a glass of classic Aperol Spritz. When we arrived, there was a short 10–20 minute wait, which only added to the excitement. The place had such a local vibe—people laughing, chatting, and enjoying life with music flowing in from the nearby street 🎶✨
By the time we got to the counter, sadly, the famous Cicchetti breads were all sold out. It was disappointing—not because of the place, but because we were genuinely looking forward to tasting one of Venice’s most iconic bites..
But what happened next made this experience unforgettable: when we told the owner how much we wanted to try Cicchetti, he smiled warmly and offered us a glass of their homemade wine on the house. That kind of humility and generosity is rare. 🙏
We ordered their Aperol Spritz and tried their house wine—both were absolutely amazing. You could feel the love and authenticity in every sip. And with the live street music, the chatter of happy locals, and a soft breeze coming in from the canals, it honestly felt like a scene from a movie.
We didn’t get to try the Cicchetti this time, but we got something even better—a beautiful memory and a strong reason to come back.
👉 Tip: Come a bit earlier in the evening if you want to try the Cicchetti—they go fast! But even if you miss them, the vibe, the drinks, and the people make it all worth it.
Highly recommend stopping by this gem if you're...

If you're looking for an authentic Italian experience you can't miss the chance of tasting a refreshing Aperol Spritz with some delicious local "cicchetti".
The "cicchetti" were absolutely amazing and offered in different flavors: with stock fish (the most well-known), with gorgonzola, but also with shrimp or cheese and honey.
All of them were just delicious, and in particular the Spritz was definitely the best you can find in Venezia: not only for the super convenient price but also because of its great flavor.
The staff was incredibly nice and kind, and the place is very well located and easy to get to.
Love this place, will come back when in Venezia...
Read moreDefinitely recommend you stop in here at least for a couple of cicchetti and a glass of wine. It's really easy to get to, and the owner is fluent in at least three languages (Italian, French and English). They also offer non-alcoholic beverages. It's a great place to start or end your cicchetti bar crawl given its proximity to the bus/train depot.
Prices are excellent, especially for being on the main tourist path, which usually means huge markups. It is very small, one table, with room for 4 people to sit down comfortably, 6 if you squish and maybe 10-12 total people at one time. We'll recommend it to anyone we know going to Venice, and if we come back again we'll definitely visit...
