I had to make my way to this little spot since I had heard so much about it. This bar literally made it to any local Venice persons blog/recommendation. So when you are on a little bar crawl, add this one. When me boyfriend and I arrived here it was packed ! It’s literally I tiny spot with a counter. You don’t eat or drink inside. You go to the counter, order, pay, then head outside. There’s are small tables to stand at. It is along the canal so you can easily sit right on the ground near the canal. The menu is directly on the wall with glasses of wine for $.70. This is definitely the cheapest place you are going to find ! They also have different little sandwiches to snack on for $1. This is a mix of tourist and locals. The best part was that even though it was busy, they are fast ! I’m glad we got to stop in.

Must go place in Venice. Excellent place for local wine and sandwiches. The best part is, most of the customers are local Venetians. This place is always queuing. People are enjoying their wines while having fun conversations. I visited there on a Friday morning. People said they made the wine themselves locally. The sandwiches are freshly made for the day, and they’re always sold out by the end of the day. And the price, oh, only 2 euro for a sandwich and a glass of wine.

Best bang for your buck in the city. 1,2 euro for a small but delicious sandwich (average person might eat between 2 and 4), 1 euro for a small glass of wine. We had lunch here for 3,4 euro per person! The people working here show incredible enthousiasm as if they are welcoming old friends to their home. They serve you your wine and might also serve themselves for good measure. You will likely find a queue but don't be deterred, it moves fast. No seating available.

This is a local bar that’s open in the morning til about 8ish in the evening. It was recommended to us and seemed popular among the locals so we visited. Like many aperitif bars in Venice, there is no sitting. However, this place is more like a takeout place where you get your drink and small sandwiches to go (drink someplace else). Unless you want a totally local experience, this is not the place to grab an aperitif after a long day of walking and sightseeing

Lovely little place one the way from the train station to the other side of venice. You have spritz for 1.9 euro with other wines fro around 1 euro. This is defeintly the place to get a drink out for cheap. They also sell mini panini for 1.2 euro. There are no outdoor seats so you can either sit near the canal or the church or even just stand around. Staff friendly and quick service. However I found the cicchetti next door a little bit more tasty

Traveling around Venice you suddenly notice people laughing and talking in one of the side streets. You are drawn to them by the smell of fresh bread and the buzz of conversations. It is here, no place to sit, two barrels at the entrance but no way to pass by. Are you hungry? I invite you for an Italian sandwich. Thirsty? No problem, we can also host you. Feel the Italian hospitality here, nice memories.
