⚠️Beware of the 50€ = 10€ confusion scam ⚠️ I encountered this type of attempted fraud three times in Venice. Seems to be a popular scam when they think you don't know euros. 10€ and 50€ bills have a similar color. I bought something for 11.10€ and put a 50€ bill on the counter. This bill was immediately taken and placed next to the cash register. Then I was asked if I had coins, I did. So I put matching 1.10€ on the counter. The coins were taken and the employee went to the other end of the counter and started talking directly to other customers. My purchase was not entered into the register, nor was my money put into the register. The employee acted as if I had paid appropriately. When I loudly pointed out that I still get 40 € change, he reacted with surprise. Then he acted as if he was sorry and it was an oversight, only now my purchase was typed into the...

Best sandwiches (specially the Piccantino and the Genovese)and coffee! We went twice in a day :). We tried around 5 different sorts of sandwiches and they were absolutely delicious! Siamo stati a pranzare qui appena arrivati alla stazione di Venezia, attirati sia dalla vicinanza che dalle buone impressioni lette in precedenza. È stata davvero una piacevole scoperta! Abbiamo scelto di assaggiare i tramezzini, che si sono rivelati ottimi: freschi, ben farciti e davvero gustosi. Un’ottima soluzione per un pasto veloce ma di qualità. Il locale è piuttosto piccolo, con uno spazio contenuto e la possibilità di mangiare in piedi al bancone. Noi abbiamo deciso di approfittare della splendida giornata e ci siamo accomodati poco distante, sotto il Ponte della Costituzione, godendoci il nostro pranzo in un contesto suggestivo e tipicamente veneziano. Un altro aspetto molto positivo è stato il servizio il personale è stato gentile, sorridente e rapido nel prepararci quanto ordinato, nonostante il continuo via vai di clienti. In definitiva, lo consigliamo a chi cerca uno spuntino veloce e gustoso in una posizione davvero comoda, magari prima di esplorare la città o subito dopo l’arrivo in stazione....
