I have use their service two times. 2022 was perfect. You got to San Marco and there was an employee of the company selling the tickets and explaining. In every stop there was always information. Always on time. Now year 2023. I am traveling with my 76 year old mother. We were at the taxi station of San Marco for over an hour at 10:30 am no one was there. We thought well they moved. No where to be found. I call them. Very nice and helpful. Brought us back to the same taxi station. No employee. Waited for 10 min. Nice girl turns up. Helped us we bought our trip for today. Today we arrived at San Marco at 9:30. No one there at 9:50 another nice girl came looked at our tickets. We boarded at 9:58 no 9:55 as planned. Got to Murano. Changed boat, got to Trocello at 13:00 we took the boat to Burano. I was surprised the let us out at the public transportation but things change. Had a nice day. Went back to where they left us….. Surprise! It is not here. I called they said I was wrong. So i had to swim here because their data said we were no drop there. We missed our boat. Now I am waiting under the sun over 30 degrees in another station where they kindly sent me the gps location. And telling me I took another company but my ticket was checked at entering the boat. Sooooo I think I had to have come by flying or swimming because venetiana says there is no other way I got here. So this is the last time. No apologies nothing. Just you are...
Read moreVenetiana was an awesome experience for me and my family of three. We have a two year old and the boat was easily accessible to her stroller, we never felt like a burden. For your money, it’s a great deal because the water-bus will take you around the same places for almost the same price for two days, but have more unneeded stops & doesn’t include an audio guide. This takes you to all the places you would want to see in Venice if you have a short trip. The app was so cool, and allowed us to experience the history of Venice without having to pay for a private tour guide. Make sure to read how to use the app BEFORE you go. It’s all written clearly on the website instructions when registering, so the bad reviews are just due to lack of research and reading. It’s super easy to download & understand. The glass shop demonstration included was a huge bonus, so fun! The boat also wasn’t too crowded, as we saw a lot of overcrowded boats passing, and I was so thankful we were not on those. There’s also an open section with no top, an outdoor section with a top, and indoor section with AC. Also the time starts 24 to 48 hours (depending on what you book) from the first time you board, so we were able to board on our third day, one last time in the morning, which really helped our...
Read moreWe had an awful time finding the ferry stop at Zattere. I asked a number of local business people who were all rude and they all gave me wrong information. I rang the company and the man I spoke to said I should walk to St Mark's Square to catch ferry! He was rude too. It was too far to walk and we had already worked out our nearest stop was Zattere. Eventually we found the Zattere stop and the boat had just pulled in. No passengers were on board. A crew member was on his phone. I signalled to him and he came to see me. I said we had tickets and he said he would "have to ask his captain". Long story short we got on board and at the next stop more passengers got on. The rest of the day was ok but we really only had time to get off at St Mark's Square for an hour and Murano to see the master glass blower at work. It's probably ok if you catch the first ferry from Santa Lucia at 9.20 a.m. There was a very helpful young man who works for the company who told us where to change ferries to get back to...
