I’m not one to usually leave reviews but tonight we came here with our 2 year old for a last meal before we head home tomorrow. We ordered chicken noodles and myself a vegetable soup, unfortunately my partners noodles with a mixture of warm and cold and my soup had no flavour and resembled dish water. My toddler tasted the noodles and spat them out but we were then apprehensive to let him eat anything else as when confronting the staff member, he said they don’t probe their food. I felt extremely awkward confronting staff so stood outside with our son whilst my partner offered to pay a percentage of the meal but not the full amount due to the standard of quality and we hadn’t eaten it, they refused to acknowledge what we said and said what we were saying was impossible and the food was fine. After my partner sat for nearly 20 minutes they resorted to threatening to call the police, which we said was fine. After leaving us another 10 minutes I just said we would pay but after paying we realised we had been charged 33 euro for 2 dishes that were 12 euro each. I think we were charged an extremely high service fee charge AFTER explaining our concerns. We have reported the restaurant to food safety agency as my partner work as a manager in hospitality himself and would never dream of treating customers this way. I love Asian food and work alongside the Asian community myself and am very well familiar with how authentic food tastes, and I was extremely disappointed with this restaurant and I’m really upset we had to pay to come out as hungry as we went in!! I hope things change in the future for this restaurant and they find room to improve...
Read moreAVOID AT ALL COSTS! COLD FOOD! TERRIBLE SERVICE! Ordered at this restaurant with my wife and child this evening. My meal arrived within minutes which was already a red flag. After a few bites I noticed some was hot and some was cold. As I’m with a 2 year old I didn’t feel comfortable eating here as it contained chicken and wasn’t risking food poisoning. I informed my server and explained the situation calmly to which they said actual it’s hot. I said try some it’s clearly not and asked if they had proof it was hot (has the meal been probed) they said no but still wasn’t listening to anything I said. I said I didn’t want to pay but would pay half out of courtesy as the server was kind and it left him in an awkward position. They then left me for 20 minutes while they had a conversation…ending in them saying they’re waiting on the police to sort this which is a ridiculous waste of resources. After a further 10 minutes and needing to feed my son I just paid and left. No customer service and a terrible...

My review is actually for two visits, one by my wife, then by both my wife and I. I had taken ill and my wife went to to find soup for me late in the evening. The wait staff were so helpful in working with her to find the right thing to order. Their tofu soup was just what I needed.
Then we returned the next day for a proper sit-down meal, and the staff were just as helpful and attentive, even though they had a big party they were also waiting on. The menu has many options, so most anyone will find something to suit them.
We had the sweet and sour pork with rice, which was tasty and filling without being too heavy (and just right for someone who was recovering from being ill, like I had been).
Then we had the steamed baozi. They were a delightful burst of flavor, and honestly my wife and I could have had a meal of just those!
She and I would definitely recommend giving Dragon D'Orient a visit if you...
