I strongly recommend that no one ever sets foot in Majer. The shop might look charming from the outside, but what waits inside is a completely different story.
We went in simply wanting to buy a pack of biscuits, and were met with an unbelievably rude and aggressive woman behind the counter. She started making vulgar comments about our behavior out of nowhere, then began screaming at us like a complete lunatic. It was so hostile and uncomfortable that we had no choice but to leave the store immediately.
Her behavior was not just unprofessional — it was downright threatening and insulting. It ruined what should have been a pleasant moment in Italy.

That's a no no in terms of impacting bean freshness I was tempted, but I buy my own coffee in small batches that has a roast date at home, and grind it when needed; and I make very good espresso. So from that point I would not recommend buying...
