We came across this place by accident. We were greeted by a nice lady, who is also the chef and she introduced us to the variety of specials they had. She let us try the polenta which was the flavor of the day to see if we'd be interested in trying something new. It was good but we came for bolognese, so we ordered that, which was fantastic! We then decided to order a second box, so we asked for recommendations from the other chef (he was making fresh pasta in the background-good sign that we are eating fresh pasta). Read moreWhile the concept of fresh pasta on the go is great, our experience at We Love Italy in Venice was far from enjoyable. The service was underwhelming, and the cashier was outright rude when I simply asked for clarification on the ingredients in the pasta.

When I expressed concern, they implied I was only complaining because I didn’t like the food — which was uncalled for and completely dismissive.
For a place that caters to tourists and offers customizable meals, I expected a basic level of respect and customer service. Sadly, this was not the case.
Plenty of better spots in Venice with great food and kind service — this one is a pass.
They also don’t have a single seat to eat l, just a...

The young boy at the counter was very friendly and polite person. We enjoyed the food so much then we ordered five more pastas to take away two Carbonara, one Norma, one Amatriciana, and one more Bolognese.
