When I travel to Italy I eat gelato almost every day. It's a fundamental part of enjoying the country and its cuisine. In all this exploration I've experienced many different flavors and styles, and Gelateria Verona is literally the best gelato I've ever had.
It's a small shop so you might miss it when you walk by. But don't! Seek it out. It's worth your time.

Staff was the sweetest you can ever find My friend is allergic and she went above and beyond to get out another tub for her to avoid contamination. She told my friend âIâm a mama and wouldnât want my kids to feel theyâre having contaminated food and wouldnât want for you eitherâ
And the gelato itself was so yummmmm. We also tried the fruit smoothie and she especially mixed different flavours for my friend. The shop closes at 8 and she served everyone who was there post closing time.

In addition, we were welcomed by a very friendly women who offered for us to try some flavours before we buy. This is also very refreshing as unfortunately many places in the city were not very welcoming to non-Italian speaking tourists these days.
Finally, the scoops were massive so we were perfectly happy with a medium for two people.
